I thought this might be a fun forum game.

People are always talking about how it is the little things that really matter because they come up so much more than the "big" things. So, what are your favorite everyday occurrences that just make you smile?

We'll go with 3 things, just because it seems to work for these types of games!

1. Opening a new bar of soap and being the first to use it
2. Getting a text from a friend that says "Howz u? :)"
3. My coffee mug (stein)

1. Sleeping in an extra 5 minutes.
2. Waking up to a text from a special lil lady.

3) Those times I lose someone special and think its the end of the world, make me realize that I am lucky to be alive. 'Lucky' being the operative word.

1. Hearing my husband telling me that he loves me - I love telling him that I love him too.

2. Getting into a bathtub with lots of bubbles, with the water at just the right temperature, with a glass of wine or ice cold beer at my side (depending on the weather) and then when I am ready, calling my hubby to come and wash my back...

3. Popping the seal of a new jar of coffee and smelling the aroma.

Hearing my wife tell me that she loves me. Every time she says those words, it is like a new experience and I never tire of listening to it.

When my lover puts on our favorite music, and sets the mood for us to be intimate.

Those lunchtime treats we arrange twice a week when one of us is at work:rose:

Being able to talk to some one anytime you feel like shit.
Cuddling with my bf.
Having someone love you no matter how you look in the morning.

3) my family got all they wanted for xmas and wont bother me for at least a month

1. waking up at night, thinking it is time to get up but realizing that isn't for several hours yet and you can go back to sleep

3. looking at my phone seconds before it rings

A sunny morning with a steady, gentle breeze in my garden with my flowers blooming. :rose:

Walking past a man and knowing he stopped to get a second look! ;)

watching lil kiddies go to school. esp those ones who show their tounge to me, make funny faces and then giggle. they look so adorable.

freshly cut grass.

Sitting down to dinner with my family, whether it''s just two of us of the whole clan

That moment at the end of the day when I sink into a lovely warm soft bed

Standing on top of a hill on a clear day, whether it's taken me half an hour or two hours to get there
