I've been reading around this site for little over a year now and when I first ventured here there were many things I hadn't even considered looking at and many others I refused too, but over time I've read stories of most every type out of simple curiosity.
I found that I enjoyed serveral of the new things I encountered and was indifferent to the rest, but not really as opposed to them as I had been before.
Anyone else find themselves doing this? Reading a story that has topics listed that they don't find arousing, but are curious about...then end up liking it? Perhaps disliking it more?

yeah, thats happened to me too. such as incest. at first i thought that was disgusting, but after reading a few WELL-WRITTEN storirs, it started to get really hot. When i thought about it within my own family, i almost puked, but in someone elses family, that really turns me on. it is important that u read a well written story if ur trying a new genre.

Sometimes you can be very suprised by the things that arouse you. That's why it's important to be open-minded and to explore. We think we know ourselves, know what we think, know what we like...but we may be fooling ourselves.

I'm fairly new to this site and topics contained in it.
Some things have disturbed me...but I've read them out of curiousity.
The "Young" theme I find "uncomfotable".
The thing I keep telling myself is..."it's only fiction, it's only fiction"
When I see "teen" I think 18,19.
When I see "young" I think 16,17 at the very least I think 15,16sh.
I have viewed one story that involves a "5 YEAR OLD!". I really think the moderators should take more of an interest in these.
Teen sex is one thing. Pueadophilic material (even fiction) is another.
Please sort this out!

Disturbing, yes. Illegal, no. If it were illegal, this site would have been shut down long ago, along with lots of others.
I do find stories involving children that young to be very disturbing, particularly those that are described by authors as "true stories". I can only hope they're lying.
However, I come back to the same point. There's a difference between thinking about something, writing about something, and DOING something. I don't want anyone arrested for what they're thinking, and I definitely don't want someone arrested for what they're writing.
