Why is this a taboo? Many places in the world it is standard practice, and in history many cultures went that way. Inbreading was the problem, and in the culture we live in, it is avoided because of the harm from it.. We made laws that prohibited "Marriage between relatives" I think that goes down to second cousins.
So the way I see it fuck away, just don't marry, or have kids.

Well keep in mind people that Incest sex maybe cool but DON'T make your sisters pregnant, it is complicated but it's like this, you and your sister (or mum or cousin) have the same DNA code, combining them both and the baby will have several birth disorders and defects. Why? because your DNA is not different from your sister's whilst a women who is not your kin will have different genetic code.

After reading all this discussion I had to find out for sure.. Yes there is laws, but the adult to minor laws take presidence. The adult to adult is hard to procecute unless one makes a charge, then both will probably be judged equally guilty.. 1-20 years seem to be the average term.. and it can be other than blood relatives.. Step-brother and Sister can bring on the laws..Also aunts uncle grandparents, it looks like first cusins are also a no no. Why is this so often revived as a law. Because of the abortions laws that cover rape and yes incest. Georgia law dates back to the 60's

:oops: I was in a similar situation about a year ago with one of my cousins. Nothing ever came out of it. It is taboo in our "American" culture but in a lot of Eastern cultures it is normal and they even get married. I have given it some thought and I think if the opportunity presents itself I'll do it.

I'd assume from your username you were born 82, in which case I would say you are old enough to know what is right for yourself to try out. However, if that's not the case and you are under 18 I would try and resist, as it could be hormones etc rather than attraction if you see what I mean, and you oculd really end up regretting it. On the other hand, Other than the western cultures, it pretty much acceptable to marry your first cousins and have kids and I know people who have and their kids are fine. Yes by marrying further away in relation does prevent hereditory deseases and possibly provides a better natural defence system.

actually there were other tribes in the Bible that were in existence when Adam and Eve had children...Adam and Eve were the first Hebrew people...because when Cain was exiled he joined a tribe (i can't remember the name) and had children with a woman in it and started his own tribe

When I was around 10 or so, my family and I would often visit my uncle's house. While I was there, my cousin and I would always go play with each other cause our age was close. You can marry first cousins in most English speaking countries. There is still a major taboo on it (which I find interesting) but incest with first cousins is not illegal.

Personally, I wouldn't do it and I have some gorgeous cousins. The fantasy and the taboo are great, making it reality would potentially ruin it IMHO.
