I've noticed that a posted story of mine has a formatting problem. This never happened to two previous stories that I have submitted.
I was just wondering what caused this. In case no one has seen it; the formatting is such that it goes two lines, space, two lines, space all the way through the story.
Again this didn't happen in earlier submissions that I made.
Any hints, tips or clues as to how I can prevent this in future stories.
Note: I use windows notepad to write stories.

I've generally found that I have to re-format the story after it's posted here, using the edit function. I write the stories in MS Word, but the formatting (italics, bold, underline, whatever) is never picked up.

The thing that makes me curious is that I've submitted two stories and never had the problem that third story does.
I've done nothing different. Just copy paste and a little touch up here and there. So how did the formatting on my third story get so fucked up?
I've got two reader comments on my third story complaining about the formatting and these readers thinks I have something to do it.

Hi,
I understand your frustration. I also have submitted a story (2 actually) which have embarrassing, yet very easily fixed typo's I wish (and know) I could fix myself in two seconds if not for problems beyond my control.
My problem is, that now the stories are added to the site, I can't edit them any in any way. Due no doubt, to one of the many bugs which exist currently (search, login problems also exist to name a few more) in the XnXX script itself.
I also had the problem you mentioned, however, I found double spaced paragraphs helped, and also, if/when you paste text in, don't move the type back to the first cursor space, (another bug no doubt) leave and space from where it starts according to the script's input field. It "may" help?
I wish I could tell you that after sweating on a story for hours, days (or even longer) and then contributing it freely here, thus adding to the greater long term good of this community, and ultimately the site owners themselves, you'd rate a little time or consideration from the latter.
However, my repeated requests for help with my easily fixed issue by moderator/management have met with NO response from them in any way.
So, I'm left to curse myself (acceptable) for my error, but also the management here, whom will not lift a finger to help, even though ostensibly their script "should" allow you to edit OR delete your own story, thereby saving you grief and humiliation as part of your only reward for your arduous, time intensive and unpaid efforts, IF their code engine weren't such a poorly written, bug ridden piece of software.
Still. Best advice, as if you needed me to tell it; Get a proof reader to validate your work before posting, and as for the spacing issue or getting help from some sort of admin hereabouts;
Do you believe in the power of prayer my son? :D
