No President Dipshit, wiretap and surveillance mean two different things.

 

So President Dipshit stated there were some interesting things coming forward on the "wiretap" claim from President Dipshit himself and the Congressional investigation committee.

Let me guess what that is. We have heard this before.

FISA court received the first warrant to monitor a server at Trump Tower since there was information the server was connected to a Russian bank under investigation.

The FISA judged stated the warrant was not narrow enough and did not approve the warrant.

The feds narrowed the scope of the warrant, submitted the new warrant, and the FISA judge approved.

I will also add Flynn was being recorded because of his repeated contact with the Russian government who was being monitored.

I have a feeling Roger Stone and Paul Manifort were being monitored as well.

I am intrigued what FBI Director Comey told Grassley and Feinstein at the classified briefing. I did not read any reporting where Grassley looked happy and was whistling Dixie as he left the briefing. So we will see soon enough.

Yep. President Dipshit admits he got his intelligence on the wiretap from the New York Times (who he does not trust) and Brett Baier.

Just wow. Why not speak to your Attorney General, CIA Director, FBI Director, NSA, etc. to get factual intelligence.

It was actually worse than that. Trump just got caught in another baldfaced lie on national TV. The New York Times article he was referring to was published SEVEN WEEKS before his tweet saying "I just found out."

And the media is already hammering on it.

Best part is the New York Times never stated the "wiretap" was out of Trump Tower. It was actually surveillance of Paul Manifort, Roger Stone, and Carter Page by the FBI. I mentioned Manifort and Stone in my post above. The reason these three dipshits were being monitored is their contact with Russian government officials who were being monitored by the FBI.

I just hope I never have to watch a "breaking news" story with the headline "President Trump Assassinated", but won't rule it out just yet ...

Per Paul Ryan in Congress conducting the Russia investigation along with the "wiretap" scam, "NO evidence any wiretap took place before or after election. Russia investigation continues."

I will post the actual story on this when it gets up on the internet. But in the meantime this is the stake through the heart of Trump's wiretapping lie. It was a bipartisan very concise statement that just basically said Trump is lying.

 

At this point the GOP members of the House and the Senate have gone into "avoid getting splattered" mode. They can see that Trump is going to hit the wall and they don't want to be anywhere near when it happens. The Democratic members of the House and Senate are going to do their best to make sure the GOP members are lined up along the wall when Trump hits it.

Everyone knows the wiretap statement was a lie. They are just being polite enough to be respectful to the Office of the President, and not call Trump a liar. They'll just let this play out as if there actually was a possibility it could be true. Trump will still have his apologists who insist that the words he uses don't mean what people think they mean, but the President has exposed himself as a fairly dim witted man, who can't foresee the results of his actions. That is a great liability in a President.

 

I am not well versed in politics by any means but know that every President Democrat or Republican in in recent times has lied in some way or another , on a grand enough scale to scare me about our government and their actions in one way or another. But as I said I do not have the in depth knowledge as you all do but what I do know is that it worries me.

The Republican and Democratic leaders of the Senate Intelligence Committee joined the chorus of lawmakers stating they are not aware of any current evidence supporting President Trump’s claim that his campaign headquarters was wiretapped during the presidential election.

Committee Chairman Richard Burr (R-N.C.) on Thursday released a joint statement with the ranking Democrat, Sen. Mark Warner (Va.), stating that they have not seen data supporting Trump’s claim.

“Based on the information available to us, we see no indications that Trump Tower was the subject of surveillance by any element of the United States government either before or after Election Day 2016,” they said...

They were joined last week and again on Wednesday by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) — leading a similar investigation in the House — who also stated that he has not seen evidence to support the president’s complaint that his offices were wiretapped during the campaign.

You really nailed it. With the possible exception of the Republicans being willing to just play along. That has absolutely been the case up until now but the two senators with the highest security clearance just came out and emphatically said there is no evidence of Trump's wiretapping claim. And the statement was concise and emphatic. Stating there was no wiretapping or surveillance of Trump tower.

So now even the Republicans are throwing a Republican president under the bus in a way I have not seen since Watergate.
