And I also read today that O'Reilly has seen a ratings bump since his sexual harassment news broke. But that could be people curious to see if he is going to address the lawsuits. But I am not sure that is going to save him this time.

I agree with you that Limbaugh is a windbag piece of crap. I listened to him a couple times in the early days before I had a clue about politics ... still on that learning curve LOL. That fucker pissed me off when he accused Michael J Fox of overplaying his Parkinsons to garner funds for stemcell research, which was a boldfaced lie and hurt him at the time. I have met Michael numerous times since I have the same affliction and look to them to prolong my "vertical time" LOL. I get people mistaking my symptoms for withdrawal until I educate them ...

Hell, Pepsi pulled a commercial yesterday with Kendall Jenner in it because people bitched that it was insensitive to police abuse/corruption during protests. It backfired big time on them but the part that pisses my off is that they apologized to her when she or her handlers should have known upfront what they were getting into.

Like I said earlier, it is not reassuring to women's issues that his viewership jumped since the story broke. A lot of people have little respect for women in similar situations even though some have cried wolf one too many times and didn't do the issue any favors ...

 

The companies will be back with their advertising in a short time. His ratings are going up and the businesses want more people to see their ads.
That is just how business works. They dropped their ads when they thought his viewers would drop. They didn't. Started increasing instead.

I am sure there have been numerous reports from Bill O'Reilly where he foamed at the mouth about Bill Clinton's indiscretions.

But he has always survived those in the past. But he might not this time. There is a power struggle between the Murdochs right now over whether to fire him or not. And from what I am reading there are still more women who are going to go public about O'Reilly harassing them.

 

If you read between the lines in this "scheduled vacation" that he just went on you will find he was told to make himself scarce to let things cool down a little. Political speak for "what the fuck did you get us into" LOL.

Yeah a regularly scheduled vacation that starts on a Wednesday when O'Reilly has a book coming out and anyone would be on all the TV shows plugging his book.

And from what I am hearing right now the investigation into O'Reilly's serial sexual harassing is uncovering even worse things. And once again there are more reports of more women coming forward.

 

And yet you still defend Bill Clinton's behavior while criticizing Republicans for doing the same thing...
