I am by nature calm and well mannered.

I have been told that Atlas Shrugged is longer as the Iliad and the Odyssey combined. During the time I might have wasted reading that poorly written propaganda I read the Iliad and the Odyssey in several English translations.

For the sake of the right wing posters here I feel the need to point out that Western literature begins with the Iliad and the Odyssey. They were written about 760–710 BC by Homer. He used oral traditions of a war with Troy that happened around 1260–1180 BC.

I knew several Ayn Rand cultists in college. They were unimpressive. Several of them carried a dog eared copy of Atlas Shrugged with them every day as though it was a talisman.
