Initiated this morning since I got up first. Yes we did get it on. She initiates on her own as well so i dont have an answer. Last but not least i once upon a time had a GF that would let me fuck her anywhere anytime but never started a damned thing. It was a huge turn off and we didnt last six months. Cant say how many times as i don't remember.

With most of my partners, I initiate, and it's usually a "yes." I don't try to initiate anything with my asexual boyfriend, but it took me a while to stop trying. The number of times before quitting efforts is very large when they say no. I agree.

The number of times they say yes but never initiate... ugh just annoying but it could be way worse.

How many times would or have you initiated and been shut down before stopping efforts? It frankly has never happened. There have been times when he was engaged in something he could not stop, yet that always means right after he'll make it up to me gangbusters. Never the less, if it had no reason (and even just not in the mood would be a valid reason), I would need some resolution as to why, though that has never happened after 20+ years. As far as me stopping efforts, if that day comes it will happen in the form of me walking out the door. I'd not just sit there in limbo without good cause.

That all said, though scorned you must also realize that there is some reason. Instead of simply pressing for it to happen, why not ask what the reason is realizing that it may be very embarrassing for him. A man's pride is a delicate thing.

For me it is not a deal breaker to be the one who initiates sex. Yes it would be great if the wife would be more proactive but what counts is that she says yes, at least some of the time.
