I wish I knew what to say.

I know how you feel and I'm heartbroken to see what effect this had on you. I can understand the impulse and the hurt, and I know you need to look after yourself.

I'm just MAD AS HELL that this person got through with this, and pretty much achieved what they set out to achieve. I'm not ready to give them that satisfaction yet.

God, this is really hard to write, because I keep going through the same motions and I'm SO SAD that something really really good can be affected by something so vile. I wish I had something to say that would make it better.

Maybe take a break, let things settle, and then try again when it's fun again? I don't know. I did that and it kinda worked for me, even though the same shit is happening again, and I slowly lose the fun of posting stuff here too.

Please, just... don't let them win. Don't let it stop you from writing good stuff.

 

I'm sorry Anna. I wish I was strong like you. I just couldn't look at that list now without feeling my heart ache. Yeah, he won, nothing new there. There always seems to be a small percentage of men who are motivated to keep women down and I'm just not a girl who wants to be part of that fight. My current stories are online and should anyone want to read them, I'll provide a link. The troll won't be able to hurt them there. I may even add to them once this wound heals.

I should say I don't mean to imply all guys are like this troll, but I seem to attract those who are. Sighs...

I'm getting married to the one man I've met in my life who has proven worthy of my trust. I made a mistake in thinking I needed the added thrill of this place. Sadly, it's ened just as he told me it would. I won't be on much for awhile. Certainly not until after my marriage. Afterward, maybe I'll check in.

There are a few here I've found to be great friends and others like you I wish I'd had more chance to know. Maybe in time I'll find the will to make that happen.

 

It saddens me to hear you being treated like that. I for one enjoyed your writing immensely and hope you will carry on even if it is elsewhere. It's a sad fact that there are people out there who have found they can use the internet to bully people and hide behind a username. Even old fashioned bullies stood against you face to face, but these people are even too weak to do that. Please PM to let me know where you are moving to. I really would like to carry on reading your stories.

 

I read your story before I read any of the comments surrounding the controversy and thought it was a very well written story with a completely unexpected twist at the end. There were a few minor editorial errors but they're very minor. I'm not a fan of incest stories but that's my bias and does not detract from the quality of the writing or the creativity of the story.

As for the controversy I think it's just somebody being a troll because it's the internet and they can. I don't want to minimize the trolling(and may not have a complete understanding of it). I had never published here and recently published a story. I was watching the votes come in and my story was doing very well. Then out of the blue about 5 negative votes came were registered in under 100 views. Sure people may not like my stories but it was a disproportionate number of negative votes for such a small number of views. My stories aren't nearly as well written as this story but I was still a bit shocked at the negative votes. Oh well.

Your story is wonderful. Please keep writing regardless of the trolls.

Lacey, they hadn't won till they ran you off. Their goal was not to hurt you in general but just to cause controversy. If it wasn't about your story it would be about someone else's. But you shouldn't let it have such a negative effect on you.

That's what they want. But you are much to strong for that!!! There are a few really nice and normal people here that appreciate your stories or anyone else's for that matter. Those are the only people you should let effect you. But in a good way. Let those nice people and comments lift your spirits and realize the other people filled with hatred means nothing to you. Brush it off....i know it's hard but letting them cause you to remove your stories is in a sense telling them they have won. And losers do not ever win!!!!!!

I just finished your story Lacey, eve thought I think I have a fairly good imagination it ever ceases to amaze me what really fine writers I find in here, kinda hurts to know my writing skills could never hold a candle to yours.
I loved the story but will admit in the end I would much rather of held on to you.
I read the comments on here didn't see the one you were upset over so all I can say is there is always going to be someone who can't keep their comments where they belong, from what I've see though the comments of high praise far outweighs the one.
I would love to read more of yours if you don't mind.

 

Was thinking about your ending, being a nice person should finish first kind of person, a second nice twist to the story might have been.

I'd never really thought about "actual incest" but turned on by the "taboo"; until about 2 years ago when I met a distant family member for the first time. Something about her touch lit me up inside; I fought it and won, due to the age difference and 'incest'. but haven't been able to get her out of my system.

This story is HOT, screw anyone else. More like it please! I did however wonder why she didn't simply take a "morning after pill" and forget Evan, lol
