Really loved the story, I mean come on , romance , romantic getaway, throw in some sex in the rain , and a fantastic way to get warm ! What's not to love.

I adore how rugged and manly he is , which woman doesnt want a strong virile man to hoist her in the air and lower her on to things

I loved the card , you big tease ! (I haven't been able to read the sequel yet , which I'm gutted about , but will get to it after this comp. ) I'm hoping it means what I think it does. . If this is a trailer then I'm coming to see the movie !

It wasnt anywhere near as technical as your other stories , more stripped back, it had a good flow to me , not as much sex as I would have liked but what there was was good. (What can I say, I always want more sex )

It wasn't until the film which invented it as a rare and expensive form of weed. Now it's an expensive, not rare, form of weed. The power of product placement.

 

Very nice and romantic.

The writing was well done, and I didn't see any errors that took me out of the story. It was very sweet. Using characters from your other stories, I was afraid it was going to turn into something different, though that would have been fine, It was nice to see the soft romantic side.

Maybe things are different on the west coast, but I thought he overreacted to the rain. Here in the south it can be raining and 90 degrees, so I may just not understand coastal weather. Trust me, nothing to be scared about getting caught in a warm springtime rain with your lover once in awhile!

He could be overprotective. He could be worrying about nothing. Until he's assessed the situations, he doesn't know. Automatic reaction.

I looked up weather data on Pineapple Express events (we had one in Feb.) air temps in the 60-70F range, so I guess rain about that temp, nearer 60 at that time of the morning.

Being soaked and 60 degrees could be dangerous for someone with low body mass or low body fat (like Claire). I still say you should set the shower to 60 and stand under it in next to nothing and see what you think.

If it'd been like this week's storm down from Alaska with temps of 45F. That could have been deadly.

But anyway, overprotective in any case.

I enjoyed this very much. It hit all of my girly fantasies...Victorian cottage, rainstorms and beach sex. I haven't read the preceding story, so I feel like I came in sort of in the middle, but this works as a standalone, too.

I would be severely hampered by the limited number of words, but you made it work here. Anxious to read more.
