Well since you asked for it, you have now just received a rush job DK story.

It will suck, but I will only say one thing... you don't get more powerful than that woman lol

 

I would like to say a few quick things about submitting your entries.

For all of you eager beavers. (I can certainly think of someone who fits the description. ) I have only waited this long so that any early entries didn't get lost somewhere in the shuffle. So if your story is ready to go, feel free to send it into THE CAW SOP account whenever you would like.

For anyone new to the competition, or just needing a refresher, DO NOT POST your story!!! Your entry should be sent via private message to me. This is an anonymous competition. Every entry will be posted from THIS account. There will be a reveal of who wrote what at the end of the voting stage.

I will follow your PM with a confirmation that it was received. Please don't panic if I don't send that immediately... I am a busy girl, (and sometimes kinda flaky.) but I will get to it when I can. If for some reason you have not received the conformation that I got your story after a couple of days , send Little Miss K a message to alert me.

This is a friendly competition. If something gets bungled, I will do my best to fix it. If your story is not posted when the others go up, you don't have to fret, we will get it sorted out.

I told myself at the beginning that I was NOT going to stress about this. Every Host thinks that no one will enter, and that they came up with a stupid theme. I was just going to sit back, relax, and wait for all of the entries to come in.

I LIED TO MYSELF! I am freaking out here!!!

While you can submit your story now, there is still just a little over a week to go before deadline. That is plenty of time to write! If you have an idea, or still on the fence about writing, PLEASE get your butt moving and do it! I would love to see a lot of stories, with many different interpretations of my theme.

I've made some progress, but not nearly as much as I wanted. About a third of the story is written so far. The positive is I suppose I have some scenes partially written that come later so it shouldn't take as long. We'll see if I manage to get it done by the deadline.

Am I the only one who spends two days working on a scene, then doesn't use it?

 

I have one that I'm still needing to wrap up (death in the husband's family, a friend's death and a string of other crisis for over a couple months keeps getting in the way), and hopefully if I get it finished and quickly proofed I'll try and whip out a second that popped up as an idea.
