The question marks appear when you look at your story through your account.

When your story is read the way the public read it, via the home page, it appears correctly with quotation marks.

So it's irritating, but not too serious. This bug has been around for a few months now, Should be (may be?) fixed in a year or two if xnxx runs true to form.

For some reason everytime I've written a story using Windows XP notepad or wordpad something goes wrong! I'm making paragraphs so my story doesn't run on in one big blob but when I copy it to post my story it never keeps the paragraph format. Why is that happening? What am I doing wrong?

You can usually create the paragraph breaks in the text box before you submit. Any formatting you had won't transfer over.

There's no other place to put this that i can find, so I guess it'll have to go here.

The stories section seriously needs the ability to subscribe to an AUTHOR, so tha you can be notified whenever they post a new story.

I have several authors who's work is quite amazing that i regularly read on here and it would be handy to have a notice whenever they post as i have missed them posting new stuff on a couple of occasions now.

Please feel free to /sign this to show your support for this idea. Lets see if we can convince the good people who make this site to add a new feature.

Just go to the top of the page and click 'sex stories'. You need to submit it in as simple a text form as possible, as the formatting can be awkward - plain text is best. Last time I submitted it was pretty quick to be published. The only guidelines are no 'obvious' underage. Stick to over 18 and you should be fine.

Problems when copy pasteing from Microsoft Word 2010

1. Every ' mark turns into a ? mark.
I didn't resist. --> I didn?t resist.

2. Attempts at formatting don't work, italics and bolded text appears wrong
3. All quotation marks are replaced by + marks.

3. Russian letters don't work

My Russian must have left plenty room for interpretation, for he burst out laughing, sputtering, “прости, прости,” prosti, sorry, as he tried to get a hold of himself. It might have been due to my younger age, or perhaps he considered it appropriate as we were in nickname basis, but he’d dropped the formal and serious -te ending from his address.

The formatting marks are only present in your view of your own story - if anyone else logs in they can see it as it should be; that is, if you look at the story by going to 'your stories' and 'view', you will see the formatting marks (square brackets, question marks etc). If you look at the story by going to 'your profile' and clicking on the relevant story, you will view it as any other reader will see it. I'm not sure about Russian characters however.

The russian letters stay as gibberish but I've sent an e-mail to stories.xnxx(at)gmail.com to ask for instructions about editing the texts.

The email address isn't answered too frequently. Agreed. Tell one of our moderators or message the administrator directly if you wish. You will have better luck than sending an email to support.

I have 2 stories posted. I've been trying to take them down for editing for 2 weeks with no result. I turn here for help.

I've messaged Lexmark and emailed support, and included urls, as requested. The PM remains unread and no reply from support.

Due to character age, one of the stories should be removed anyway. I wanted to edit the other. Either way, I've yet to receive a response, the stories remain up, and I can't touch them.

If anyone knows how to gain access to posted stories, please let me know.

Many of us post on multiple sites. If you used Tikiman as your member name on the other site, no problem. Otherwise I would consider using a disclaimer so we know you didn't borrow these from another writer. By all means, post away.

In order to make any changes in a story that you've already posted, you have to perform the following steps:

1. Hire a private investigator.

2. Have that investigator track down the administrator and give you an address.

3. Buy a plane ticket to get you to the right city.

4. Go to the address.

5. Offer the administrator a bribe. If you're a hot young woman, you might be able to substitute a blowjob for the bribe.

Alternatively, you could just post the new version of your story with a "Revised" suffix on the title, then PM the administrator asking him to remove the original story, and hope that when he does his semi-annual checking of his PM's, he notices yours and takes action.

I know, I know. I'm a little cynical. On this site, you pretty much have to assume that once a story is posted, it is there forever.

I would like to suggest that the site allow you to filter stories by categories. That way you can remove one or two tags, or search for two or more specific tags. I'm assuming it would be fairly easy to extend your search engine to be able to do this, possibly like google, using '-' for exclude and '+' for include.

When creating a search, go to the advanced options and enter the tags that you want to search for and you can specify the story forum specifically to look in.

sorry I should have been clearer, I don't mean on the forums, I mean the sexstories section of the site, it doesn't have an advanced search function.
