Honestly, there was not a bad story in the bunch. My short list is finally shorter than 50% of the total submitted. This may not have had a huge turnout, but these truly are the best group I've ever seen. You are all to be congratulated and we readers are honored to be the recipients of your gifts.

If it does, let it rest. There are other possibilities the obvious one being ELP got the number of entries wrong.

It implies that this group of stories was so well written that to even eliminate one is a task. Imagine having to eliminate fifteen of them. The winner of this challenge will really be a writer among gifted writers and that (of course) includes you and your entry.

There are fewer stories than the last couple challenges, but in honesty, we were getting complaints about how demanding it was for readers to keep up, so maybe that's a good thing. While I don't like every entry (I'm always more critical), I do like the eclecticism presented. There are few run-of-the-mill plots, and those that are benefit from having a lot to contrast with. I feel like it's okay to a smaller number of entries if the alternative is to pad out the list with ten interchangeable incest stories (not that there's anything wrong with incest fiction, just saying there's no sense of homogeneity about what's been presented here). Last time I was this pleased with the diversity of the spread was the Halloween challenge.

I like challenges like this. Helps keep my mind going for November and the NaNoWriMo.

One month, 50,000 words minimum.

So much fun reading other people's entries and I read them a few times before either commenting or bumping.

I'm down to one story left to read, and I agree with the sentiments here; there are a lot of quality works here. I'll admit I'm a little more critical than many of you, so my short list is much shorter than sixteen (or fifteen, if you prefer).

Most of the stories that I decided not to vote for, I did so not because I thought there was anything wrong with them, but just because of personal preference. Dark stories like Roses are Red and Cum-Stained Beds aren't likely to get my vote even though I thought both were well written.

Likewise, I'm a little stubborn about insisting that stories in a contest on a sex stories forum should, you know, have sex in them, which eliminated a whole bunch of entries this time around. Again, that has nothing to do with the quality of the stories, and a couple of them, like the Girl in the Photograph, were so impressive that I almost felt guilty about my stubbornness in sticking to my rule.

Then there were the ones that completely blew me away, like the emotional roller coaster At the End of the Path and some of the best sex scenes I've read in a long time in the Cheatin' Side of Town. And of course I loved the shameless, no-nonsense porn stories My Father's Boss and When the Voyeur Decides to Play.

And if I didn't mention your story above, I apologize. I was just going to go with a couple of examples but ended up getting carried away. It's not my intention to slight anyone.

I have to admit, going over the entire entries for the CAW 11 made for some wonderful reading. This is only the second CAW I have seen and now I know why there are so many great writers here. The diversity of styles and abilities are amazing.

It was difficult to narrow donw the field to just a final short three; and from those to choose the final one for me to cast a vote for.

No matter what, ALL of the authors who entered have achieved something wonderful that will stand as a new standard for all other authors to strive for.

Well I have finally finished reading all the entries. I must say my hats off to all of you, that have entered.

Just like Snow had mentioned this is also my second CAW, and although the last one had some great stories, there was way too much drama for my to really enjoy it. I am happy there is less drama going on in this one and really enjoyed all the stories!

The picture really brought out diversity in all who entered, some had me at the edge of my seat wondering what was to happen next where others had me wiping a tear from my eyes, or making me jump because someone was cut, where you really shouldn't be cut.

Well done everyone! Now I have to choose one to vote for, I think this might harder than the time I was trying find a certain needle in a stack of needles.

Three things struck me about your story
1) the simplicity of language
2) the courage to do the protagonists of girls 14 years (many hypocrites could report the story)
3) might be a story (unexpected but not unlikely) true that happened in any city.
