Are the admins taking a break?

The quality of customer support on this site is sad to none. I'm sick of not having access to my stories, not being able to edit, not being able to delete spam and vulgar messages, not having any kind of control over my own material. So I've been asking for my work to be deleted from the site, then I wait.... and wait... and wait.... And a month later, nothing. Send another one. Waiting. Still nothing. This is the reason I'm leaving the site. That and how often I've been finding my stories stolen and reposted on other sites. And I know they come from this site because the idiots stealing it are copy pasting even the author notes I write at the top of my stories! Are the admins not checking their mail? I don't even know if there is more than one admin. If the admin were to give authors the power to delete and edit their stories on their own, like every other site, then there wouldn't be as much of a problem. I just want all my stories removed from the site. Where the hell are the admins?

I sent the message through the email that is posted saying if you want to edit or delete stories write to it. Last time I asked for stories deleted, it took over a month and a couple of emails. If we were given a button that said "Delete" and could do it ourselves, even that tiny thing would possibly keep me here, but I don't like this inability to handle my own material. And the comments are just retarded sometimes. I hate it the most when I get 5 of the same comment. That annoys me to no end. I've put up with all of it since 2007, and this site hasn't gotten any better since then. So yeah, I want my stuff off. Maybe I'll repost stand alone stories, little things that if they get stolen, I don't care, but all my stories need to be edited and revised, and it's easier to delete them all and start over anyways.

I have made many comments on the forums over the years about why we are not given powers of deletion and editing. It not only makes sense, it would go a LONG way in customer service and keeping the better authors on the site. If nothing else changed, just the ability for ME to delete/edit my own story without having to send an email and wait a month, and the ability to filter comments made on MY stories (not just a yes/no for allowing comments), I would stay and there would be no complaints ever again from me.

We're all here for free, so the Admins for the whole XNXX site (as opposed to the mods for the much smaller Forum) owe us nothing, they pay for our canvas on which we can write should we choose to.

The Internet has become a 'wild west' where pilagarism and theft of intellectual property has become the norm, along with random gunning of any product or opinion, in the style of the old gunslingers.

If any of us dislike it then we shouldn't be here.

Yeah, and what about all the other sites that are there for free and give us more? They may owe us nothing, but I'm not asking for more than what I can find on other free sites. The solution would be to tell everyone who likes your stories to go to another site where they can be found besides here. I'd recommend not linking to it other than on your profile (there's a way to link to it) or send a PM to whoever is interested in where you're going besides here.

Difficulties within the forum can be dealt with by our mods unless it is a glitch in the system. I'm sure Lemark has things to solve of his own without having to worry about the forum's hindrances.

To me that's kind of the point.
If Lemark doesn't have the time to administrate then get some Jr. Administrators to take care of it.
He could easily find a couple of capable people who would do it just because they dig porn that much.
There really isn't a good excuse for the "absentee landlord" style with which this place is administered.

I am with you there, I posted a few stories that I have re done, I emailed them via the address given, several times over the post two months, with not even the slightist response and no deletions to my old stories. Even recently, I putted when my net played up and ended up with 4 posts of CAW11, when I press save and edit not post.
They are in the bahamas and could care less at the moment.

You forgot about emu's, we keep them for theirs eggs, and koala's for there fur in ugg boats. And we walk sheep around the block to help fertilise the neighborhood. I have seen only films and pics of Australia and it is beautiful beyond fault from what I gather; I have to share this tale though from the zoo near my home...and its quite true:

Some tourist claimed to be from Texas, and when gazing upon the kangaroos, he asked what 'them crazy critters are over there hopping all over the place."

I had to tell him "Now come on, you have never seen a mouse before?"

Travelling to Australia is one of my lifetime plans; and I look forward to it.

One time I needed to delete something from Story site so I sent e-mails but got no reply. It wasn't until I PM'ed Lemark that anything happened and it still took time.

Good luck and its a shame the site is chasing another writer away due to its neglect of a few easily accomplished improvements.

Yeah its a pain..i did post to lemark ages ago and did get a delete, but no reply in 2012. Not sure ig he is interested or is to busy. I gave up, but am thinking of starting a new profile and putting my stories there is no help from admin happens.
Its a good concept but they need a delete or edit option.

A bunch of slave owning farmers, and their lawyer buddies who didn't want to pay taxes.
Having started as a penal colony just makes Aussies seem more like bad asses to me.
Like you think of the original "settlers" the British sent there, they must have been bad asses that survived.

US has rattle snakes and probably more like it, we got a few snakes in the top ten deadliest in the world, tiger, eastern brown, typan, fear, red belly black, all deadly like the rattlesnake. Same with spiders, US has black widows, we got rebacks, funnel webs, all deadly.
It must have been hard going for settlers of both countries, starting as penal colonies then settlers. US had outlaws, we had bushrangers.
Thing in common, over time we saw the british as our masters and also our enemy. Both countries started off irish-english with indigenious tribes on the land. US had native americans, we had koories (aborigines).

Seriously though, Polar Bears are being forced further and further North every year. I lived in Churchill, Manitoba for three years and saw only one polar bear during that time. Everyone there kept saying that they had been seeing a very noticeable decline in the bear population. Even the number of tours going out to see the bears has decreased in response to that.

Point is...we're not able to ride them to work any more.
