I live in the desert where it's normally hot this time of year. Last year every day of July was over a hundred degrees. Today is nice. It's 79 degrees right now and it's supposed to reach 91 degrees today. The ten day forcast is below a hundred everyday.

Some years are hotter than others, that's how the weather is. The global warming hoaxers will never understand that. They are ideaolgically driven to believe that every weather event that can possibly happen is proof of global warming.

I don't believe the "Koolaid" reference has anything to do with LSD. The context I've always heard it used was to describe someone who's so devoted to a false cause that they would stand in line and willingly drink their cyanide laced Koolaid, just like some of the Marxists members of the Jim Jones Temple did. I've never heard it used to descibe a drug user.

I never said I don't trust science. I have great admiration for the accomplishments of real science. But I know enough about history that I know that science can, and has been, falsely used to further political goals.

It is pretty miserable and does grate on the nerves after a while, I need a long holiday in the sun somewhere, just sitting around doing nothing but eat and drink, Italy or the South of France sounds good to me, maybe Bayern, but preferably Italy.
