I'm a retired volunteer firefighter. I used to go to Junior Public school during Fire Prevention week in October. I used to pull up in the truck and the looks on their faces was priceless. I would then take them into the gym and give my speech and then pull out the equipment like thermal imaging cameras Bunker Gear SCBA'a etc. At the end I would hand out coloring books and crayons. Little plastic fire helmet's. Then the finale Out to the truck and let them play with the siren. The looks on their little faces was so cute, and it was an experience I will never forget.
