Many of them are very popular threads.

One of which is my shemale thread.

And the votes are "taking their toll" due to the current lack of forum activity.

1. I have noticed only a few threads which were created to draw response against you and those were created in direct response to your attitudes - not a trolling behavior. I would say that they were more Don Quixote than troll - joining battle against monsters which are only imaginary (in this case, in the monster's heads instead of in Don Quixote's head). You complain at the beginning of this thread that your threads ratings are being dropped.

NEWSFLASH - visitors to a thread are only allowed one vote per username so if a small number of visitors are causing your threads to lose rating then that means that only a small number of visitors actually voted FOR those ratings which means that those threads are NOT as popular as the ratings supposedly indicate.

Furthermore, are you in a popularity contest with any other thread creator? Just by posting new information to your threads, you will keep them at the top of the list. I would think that THAT would be more important than any rating - especially once the post count goes above 500 messages.

If you are worried about your threads dropping in "popularity", simply add a request that visitors actually vote on the threads to your sig - it will automatically be added to all your posts past and present. If you have more than a few dedicated visitors, that should be able to overwhelm any negative impact from detractors. [headsmack - silly me, that would mean that you would have nothing specific to complain about - nevermind]

You need to factor in the # of pages a thread has, the # of views, and the # of positive responses in a thread. By that clear standard my shemale thread is a very popular thread. My Mr. Hansen thread is not too far behind it.

Also, the CAW threads REQUIRE thread votes in order for a story to finally win the writing contest. It isn't necessary to vote in the other sections when one takes into account the factors mentioned above.

Why do you care so much about the stars? Most people read, or don't read a story/ thread based on the title.

This thread "someone keeps voting down my thread" has more responses than any other thread or story.

If you didn't bring so much attention in your complaints.... Maybe the people you attack wouldn't 'vote down' your stories in retaliation, and the only people that voted were the ones that happened to be interested in the subject matter.
