You should approach him the same way you'd approach any other guy. Get to know him, go out for coffee, watch a movie with him, get close with him and a little touchy-feely. Talk to him about lots of things including personal stuff and personal stuff for a guy, too. And don't be surprised if he reacts, but keep with it and let him get comfortable with it all. He may still think of you as his little girl so getting physical with you may be repulsive for him.
