One of them yelled. Then without looking any further, the men all rushed out of the room and a few minutes later could be heard down below the window organizing their search.

Although still naked and without a real plan they were now a mere few feet from freedom, they just had to find an open door or window to get out of. "That is good that Tim won't be in trouble and that they found our stuff and the money. I am glad you did not have to work either. My boss expected me to come back right away but she did give me the day after I returned off. I worked yesterday though, but I got today off. I figured I'd better call ya since I was off. How are your kids? I bet they are thrilled that you are home?!" Angel asked.

"Yeah they were thrilled. That is a bummer that you had to work though. She should have given you more time off. How is Tim doing?" Chad asked.

"He is fine. Thank you for asking. Well, Tim wants us to go out for a bit so I will talk to you again soon. Talk to you later Chad." Angel said.

"You like him some don't you? You went through a very intense thing with him. Maybe we should go up there and see him sometime and get your feelings out there so we all can move on. It might also help through your nightmares you have been having. I don't want you to keep waking up screaming every night and not being able to help much. I was not there to help you this time, but Chad was." Tim suggested.

"You are right honey. I need to feel closure and get my feelings out there. We will save up some money and go up there. Thank you honey for understanding. You are the best husband in the world." Angel answered through tears. Tim put his arms around Angel and gave her a big hug.

A week later Chad decided to call Angel......

"Hello?" Angel ask.

"Hi Angel." Chad answered.

"Hey Chad. How are you?" Angel asked.

"I'm good. How are you?" Chad asked.

"I'm okay. How are your kids?" Angel asked.

"They are fine. They are glad I am home. I am glad I am home too, but I actually kind of miss you. I started getting used to seeing you. You was there by me pretty well the whole time, and I miss that. Do you think you could come down for a vist if I help with some of the gas?" Chad asked.

"Awww, you miss me? Well, Tim and I was thinking about saving up some money to come up there too. I miss seeing you too."Angel admitted.

"Well, how long do you think it will take to come up with the money?" Chad asked.

"A couple months probably." Angel answered.

"Will you be able to come up with any money right now?" Chad asked.

"I could come up with maybe 50 bucks is all right now." Angel answered.

"Okay, try to save up another 50 bucks for next month and I will send the rest to you." Chad said.

"Okay sounds good. I will eventually pay you back Chad." Angel said.

"Don't worry about it. Just seeing you will be worth paying for it." Chad said with a smile on his face.

"Okay see you next month. I gotta go now. Bye Chad." Angel said.

"Okay see you then. Bye Angel."

The next month later Angel was able to save up another 60 bucks. She ended up having 120 bucks saved to go see Chad. She knew that would not be enough though so she waited for another few days to see if Chad really was going to send some money. As promised, the following week, there was a check for 200 bucks. Angel decided she better call Chad to let her know she got the check and would be up the next week.

"Hey Angel?" Chad answered. He knew Angel's number by heart now.

"Hi Chad. I got the check. I managed to save 120 bucks so this will be enough now. I also got a few days off from work, so I will be up there on a Friday and stay until like Monday or Tuesday. How does that sound?" Angel asked.

"Sounds good to me see you then. Okay I will call for more details later on then." Angel said.

"Okay sounds good. Bye Angel" Chad said.

"Bye Chad."

The following week Elizabeth called Chad to confirm the date and time. Chad decided that it would feel weird to be with a married woman so he didn’t answer his phone. Elizabeth wondered what was going on and tried calling again. He figured he better answer it and just tell her to leave him alone.


“Hey Liz, I decided that it would be best not to see each other anymore. Keep the money and put it towards the book about our experience. Good luck with it. Let me know how people like it.”


“Oh okay, what is wrong Chad?”


“Nothing, I just can’t be with a married girl. It would feel like a third wheel and your husband is too controlling for my liking. We can still be friends; if he even lets you have any after a while. Bye Liz.”


“Oh okay, will talk to you later then Chad. Bye.”
Liz was disappointed but knew Chad was right. Her husband didn’t like her with anyone else and some day he may do this kind of behavior again later on. She only talked to Chad every once in a while after that. They were no longer close anymore. She soon realized that she didn’t like him that much like she had before.


A month later after the experience Liz had her dream come true. She just wished her mother could have seen her. She dedicated her book in memory to her mother .She was a happy girl.
Liz was finally able to stay at home now due to her book that she published. It became famous and she was known for her work now. She was able to write more books similar to her experiences. Liz was able to quit her job and Emmitt had picked up more hours finally. They were living life pretty good now. Elizabeth even managed to get a new girlfriend named Jenny. She finally felt safe and loved again. The men were now dead and she could live peacefully.


One night she was sleeping, but woke up in a sudden sweat. She couldn’t remember where she was or why. She wondered where Eric, Emmitt and Chad were. Then she remembered that she was just dreaming or was she? Was this really the end? Would she finally be able to live life fully without seeing Eric? She thought he died, but that dream felt so real that it made her wonder. Was he really dead? Or was he coming back to get her like he promised her?
