I agree, Daddycums is the best writer on this site - all of his work is original and professional, with detailed plots an pleanty of character development.
As I've already posted, I also think that Perverted1, DSGIRL, and snowleapard3200 are also in the running for authors well worth reading; not in Daddycums class, but still great writers.

I've been reading and rereading Ka Hmnd's sories lately. I really like the way he writes. My favorites are a "New Begining","Keeping things even","Wizardly protector" just too name a few. Very good author!

Just keep writing and seeking to improve your works; eventually you will each find your groove and develp a style or styles unique to your works. I have had people compliment my style of writing; yet compared to the old hands of the sight, such as those in CAW 11, ELP, Ejls, and so many others I am not even close to their caliber by far.

Be patient and use any critique here in the forum as a basis to grow. An example is Ejls gave me some advice on incorporation the five senses into my stories; and I came to understand just how much more material it allowed me to develop in unique ways.

Also - have a good thesarus as well.

Above all - have fun and enjoyment in writing.

How do you find specific writers? I search for some writers and it does not find them for me. I also searched specific Story titles and did not get anything.

I do it probably the hard way, on the stores site you have to pic the link that says "Authors List" then click the link that says by name, after that it's just a matter of finding your author alphabetically.

I have to agree with you, PP. The story might not be everyone's cup of tea, but, what makes me question inclusion is the number of grammatical errors within the story. One doesn't have to pass muster of the National Association of Grammar Nazis, but, when a work is littered with common errors, it lowers the value of the story. Grammar and spelling are often overlooked elements of writing.

Is it wrong to have a big ego if what that ego is based on is true? I have see stories of comparable quality to your work sold professionally and your erotic novel ability can even exceed some of the professionally offered works that I have seen.

I have seen many writers on this site which approach your ability but even the best consistently fail to exceed the standard which you have set.

Allison is a POWERFUL story and is written in such a way that it also has a definite end (something that many writers here fail to achieve). The story uses sex but does not DEPEND on it even though the sex is very much an integral part of the story itself.

Ka Hmnd is a good writer but his characters tend to come off as superheroes instead of real people. That can be a good thing in certain stories but it can also be overdone. His stories also tend to simply stop instead of finishing; they leave the reader wanting more

A new writer - Karax - is showing promise as well.

One of my Favorites as well, he makes his character seem real and develops them. Porn is two dimensional, writing shouldn't be. The ability to get a reader invested in a character is one of the things I look for in my favorite Authors. The "I cant Resist my Neighbor or her teenage daughters" series that just came to an end was great for that.

I think immediate is a fantastic author. All of his stories are rape/non-consensual, if that's your style, I definitely recommend you read his stories.

Least you could have done PP is let her know why you felt this story was "barely average quality" if it were me I would respect your opinion but I would want to know what I could do to make it better.

I've said it a dozen times in forum posts but I feel we only truly learn through feedback and criticisim. So like I said I respect your right to dislike her story but at least give her something to think about.

If my opinion means anything, I really liked Beth's story. I think many writers are worthy of recommendation and don't get it. In my opinion there are a some on this list that don't deserve to be here. But we should be helping each other grow as writers not putting down people with talent.

We can't even keep the sodding tense consistent.

It might be a riveting story- if you don't mind mediocre writing- but as far as I'm concerned if its going be on the list then it better be pretty bloody good and this crap sure as hell isn't.

I'm sorry, I would have to agree with PP on this one. I tried to read it but honestly the errors were too annoying. What I read showed some promise but it is a talent that needs major development.

Right there is what I'm talking about, when I read it I saw a writer with real talent and promise like you. I read through the story and liked it, but its your choice to disagree with me and that's cool.

PP I do see your point but I guess I don't see that when I read stories. For me to not like a story based off gramer and spelling it has to be REALY bad for me to notice it. When I read through Beths story I just didn't really processs it in the same terms I guess.

Beth don't give up on your writing. I can't spell to save my life(But I have learning disability) so I up graded my computer to try to bridge that gap. Before that I was hit with comment after comment about how my stories looked like they were written by a third grader. I didn't let it slow me down, please don't stop i want to see what you come up with next.

The the thread is recommended writers and I guess on the same side of the coin its about challenging those recommendations too. I hope to some day be on this list but I also don't think it means once you are you are above criticism.

I will try this shameless 'promoting of myself' thing once more.

New author, only two stories but plenty more on the way, including a series.

Blood Red Wine is a lesbian vampire story, very short but I'm going to begin a series with that one, with an actual non-sexual story line! Of course the intense sex scenes will be an added bonus.

The Ruined Princess is very extreme, definitely read the tags beforehand, if that's not your cup of tea, then you'll hate it and probably suggest that I see a psychiatrist.

I read her story and thought that the writing improved greatly as the story progressed. By the most recent additions I thought it flowed very nicely. I (obviously) liked her story and her style of writing and that is why I recommended her.

Ejls - that is why many new authors who are to become great ones listen to when honest critique is offered to them, and why many ask you and the other long term writers of the forum for such advice.

I will agree with you and PP as well, the talent is there, it just needs some refining which will come with time and work.

You offered me a few pointers as well, which I again thank you for back then, it provided the insight I needed to breach one more barrier that I knew was there and could not have figured out on my own.

Anyone seeing the grammatical and syntax disasters of some of my early stories will understand; and mind you, I see myself far below the level of the authors here such as ejls, elp, dizzy, wantsomefun, ahorsewithnoname and so many other true masters.

I receive more honest critiqes (such as I get) here in the forum, than in the main site; which is why few of my new stories in the works will ever go to the main site anymore - I get tired of mine being used as a dating request for the trolls.

I got to agree with the annoyance of Dating Requests by trolls. When i get the honest feedback I try to take it into account.

I do admit the verb tense and sentence structure are important, however I have noticed as I read and then reread peoples stories that many of the mistakes i pass over as my mind restructures what I'm reading to make sense. That is probably where I miss the errors in my stories. The mind is capable of making sense out of jumbled words such as:

I cl'onudt bleivee that I cloud acllutay usadntenrd waht I was rnideag The phennamoel pwoer of the haumn mind Aidncorcg to a reascreh at Cmirabgde Uiresinvty, it den'sot mtetar in waht order the leertts in a wrod are, the only ipnoatrmt tinhg is taht the fisrt and lsat leettr be in the rhigt place. The rset can be a tatol mses and you can siltl read it woutiht a ploebrm. This is bscauee the hmuan mnid deos not read eevry letetr by ielstf, but the wrod as a whole. Anamizg huh? Now I;m not saying by any means that errors be about, but nit picking every error is going overboard as I have read published books that had spelling or grammatical errors in them either the editors or printers missed.

I'm going to keep writing either way, double and triple checking before posting. If I miss some errors and they make it through I apologize to those who must have perfect writing over a good story. I thank everyone who reads the stories and gives me feedback. When I leave a comment on a story, I'll tell the author and if there were things that needed work and if there were things I liked, giving the positive with the negative. If the story was good despite the errors I read, I leave a positive rating. the only time I give a negative rating is if the story was truly bad enough to deserve it. With much of the talent on this site, I have only given very few negatives, mostly when there was no story and the writing style was disconnected or disjointed.

One thing of all the authors on the forum is each of us has at least one unique style to our writings; yet its that variety which adds the true spice to the entire forum soup.

I know my own stories tend to be chaotic, sardonic, humorous and the classical nerd-princess/goddess in the flesh style. I have a hard time writing the usual story site of - first sentence they are off to bed style.

Its not my cup of tea as they would say.
