Free exercise allows just about anything not regulated outside of the practice of faith.

I wanted to add something to what is and is not protected free speech because I thought there was a perfect case for the court to have to address "community standards" as opposed to lacking literary, artistic, or scientific benefit.

Remember the author of the pedophilia book that was arrested in Colorado by Florida authorities and charged with distributing obscene material depicting sex with minors?

I thought sure that one would end up in the supreme court and his arrest would have been struck down. But instead he pleaded guilty to the charges but only received two years probation, doesn't have to register as a sex offender, and can serve that probation in his home state of Colorado.

Now does that make sense if he was charged the felonies that could have put him in prison for five years?

I sure don't think so. That's not even a slap on the wrist and plus he can keep selling book as long as he doesn't get caught selling it in Florida.

There's something very strange about all that and what I think it is is that Florida officials knew they would get reversed if it went to the supreme court. Florida's laws might even be struck down. And for all their bluff and bluster instead of actually prosecuting him they cut him a deal and cut him loose.

But that's just my best guess.

On one of the threads the OP even stated he didn't know how he ended up with two threads with the exact same title, which made it kind of confusing at best because it was hard to tell which thread you were posting on.

And I thought they were a good topic and I made a friendly suggestion that HE PM a moderator and ask them in they could be merged. Because I had sure seen them merge threads before but out of spite and revenge not clarity.

Then I saw a post by Jamie90 saying she had merged them and thought right then if the OP had not ask her to do that then she was sure fucking up merging them on some suggestion from me because I WAS NOT THE OP. But I didn't say anything and just kept posting on the thread.

It should be or at least posting the same exact post on multiple threads has gotten people banned before for spamming the board. I even tried to warn one of our resident racists one time that if he continued to post the same exact post on nearly every thread on the front page he was going to get banned and he did by Chunky who was just giving him enough to hang himself with.

But who knows what constitutes spamming or a bannable offense now. Its just pretty much the whims of any particular moderator on any given day it appears to me.

OK. I agree, spamming the board is a childish attempt to deliberately piss people off and should be a bannable offence.


I would also ban copycat accounts that mimic the posting style of others in an attempt to piss people off.........Please don't think I'm talking about sock accounts here.

Nope. To me there's no difference between the copycat treads and the socks. Limit members to one account and nearly all that bullshit would stop.
