What happened to the usual members?

Reading, and commenting on incubus's "welcome back" thread got me thinking....

Has anyone else noticed that some of the usual members seem to have stopped posting?

The two that come to mind at the moment are Kimiko and Justpassingthru. I'm sure I will think of more later....

Has anyone else noticed this or have updates on the Usual Suspects?

Kimiko often takes weeks "off" at a time. JPT was traveling, and I did not expect to see him here for a couple of months, although I expect he will be back fairly soon.....

I have no idea who Eva666 is (or was), but Brandilicious has not been seen since her Canucks were dumped from the playoffs early this year.....I suspect that she may be too embarrassed to come back.

Since I first arrived in these woods, there have been at least 2 dozen members who were almost daily contributors who have left for good (at least they have not been seen for at least a year or more at this point).

There have also been another 50 or so what I would call "regular" contributors (those who were rarely gone for more than a few days at a time) who have totally disappeared.

The "average" member, whether they contribute a lot to discussions or pics or games or whatever, is only here about 4 to 5 months before they leave to never return.

I can only guess what the reasons for this are, but there would have to be hundreds of different reasons.

To say: "What ever happened to....." becomes ever more typical as time goes on.

I'm of the thought that this forum is like a black hole. No matter how hard you try to pull away from it, it just pulls you back in.

With that said, those members we all enjoy interacting with, be it long conversations or simply get a good belly laugh at the posts they make will eventually return.

I've seen Brandi maybe a week ago. She isn't around here as much but she did post on the forum.

JPT made a post saying that he was in fact 'just passing through'. His physical conditions (I don't remember what specifically) were taking over his ability to function normally and he was hoping to enjoy the time he has with his family.

Eva666 posted to his/her thread in the sex stories forum that sought a 'no limits' writing partner. If they are still around, I think you'd find their posts there.

People come and go - they have real lives. Pussyseeker was gone for months. It was a matter of where he was working and the internet capability. Tenguy took his family on a fabulous trip to Great Britain. I know that this summer was going to be chocked full of family functions. Some of my readers kept getting virus warnings when trying to log in, so they're reading my stuff on another site. I suppose some day I will leave, too. Right now, this is a nice place to visit.

Yep, I agree, but baller will tell you that people like me have ruined the site and that it was "oh so much better back in the day", which was 2006 so not that long ago and as this place evolves it changes and gets better.

Do I count? I've been around here since 09. I don't post much unless I think I have something to say.
