No, this is not a contest but the statement by ejls was not intended as an attack but advice.

Art is produced to get specific reactions from the target audience. When that art is produced with flaws which prevent its appreciation then the artist can feel slighted as well.

The issues which ejls was addressing impacted my ability to even read the story and keep up with what was being said -vs.- what was being described. Sentence structure IS important in a story presentation.
