I get really nervous when they are discussing conspiracy theories. Then when they start talking about creatures invading Earth in the next hour, I have to wonder if anything they have to say can be true. It was taken off of my favorite talk station (WLS) and a conservative talk show based in Dallas replaced it.

I don't get to listen to complete shows, I get bits and pieces here and there but I like it. I liked it a lot better when Art Bell was on, but George does a great job too, you have to take things with a grain of salt (or two), but it is entertaining for the most part.

Art was the king... George is pretty good if the guest is strong. Some nights zoom by but others are snooze fests.

I agree completely, it took a while to warm up to George after Art left, but you're right. I like how he always leads off with stuff from the news though.

When I listen to old episodes with Art Bell, I think wow he was an asshole.

I like George but Art was better. I liked Arts sense of humor (yeah...he has one.) Art was also a lot les corperate than George. George has transformed what used to be a show that was carried nation wide on its own merrits alone into an advertising platform for a variety of his personal agendas. I dont realy fault him for it but it is a little tedious.

As for the show being bullshit...of course it is. Most of the guests are fringe types that couldnt get air time any place else. Some of them are solid but most are from someplace very much not like the universe we live in. But thats what makes it so damn much fun.
