Oh, Paul Ryan doesn't have to rely just on his Congressional pension. His family is fairly wealthy and his wife's family is even wealthier. Plus she worked for several years as a high paid lobbyist. I doubt you'll hear him say anything nasty about lobbyists, but if you do, well that's just bullshit.

Oddly enough, not only will the Romney/Ryan Medicare plan be a huge burden on senior citizens, making them pay for preventative care and the "donut hole" prescriptions that Obamacare covers, because the Ryan plan takes that money and uses it for tax cuts for the wealthy, Medicare will go broke before 2016. At least Obama's plan stays solvent until 2024 at least, maybe longer.

#1 would be how do expect the people to survive if the government keeps sending money overseas to every other nation instead of fixing what is wrong here

#2 has either candidate ever been onto a reservation, into the real heart of appalachia, or inside of a food bank

Well a lot of us SENIOR citizens think that the cap on taking medicare and social security should be totally removed and EVERYONE should pay into it, no matter if they make billions. It would completely make SS & Medicare solvent forever, this is not my view from an analytical source, sorry I don't remember since I read it a few days ago, in a letter from AARP.

No one in power in Washington, or running for office has any interest whatsoever in the people they represent. They only represent the "people" (corporations) that pay them the most in campaign contributions, so nothing is going to be fixed. Why do you think they built the concntration camps all over the country, and on the internet news that the govt is going to use unmanned drones in the country and will use their rockets against civilian US targets. (Of course, only drug dealers, right!!!!)

lanie i read that article as well because my mother (a nurse for 43 years) and mother-in-law(carrer USG translator/retired) are on medicare and im not tooooo far away

why are we still providing medicaid, medicare, social security to the d.c.s that are not required to pay into the system?

How about the doctors and hospitals that are ripping off the system. Why is there no big push to investigate. Oh thats right the funds were cut to give tax breaks to rich. The rich doctors and hospitals are paying the politicans to keep the system going.

I like that and have a very simple solution; elect more progressive/liberal/Democrats.

By the way the congressman who first said the GOP health care plan was for us to die quickly was Alan Grayson who lost his last election but appears to be heavily favored in his current race to return to congress.
