The Troubles with This Place

But the other problem with this place, quite obviously, is that it is a filthy porn site. I spend most of my time in Stories, posting stuff, and I come over here for laughs. But there's this whole other reality that has to do with porn, which I don't ever visit at all: Personals, and the Pix-and-Vidz. Point is, you think you know a person. Now, I've gleaned enough from GD to know that DL is a sad little racist, but I don't hold it against the guy, because he is more fun to debate than most of the other moonbats around here. But you don't really know a person around here, unless you also hang in those other places, the ones that pertain specifically to porn. So, pursuant to the quote above, is there any truth to it? Is CSNatureboy just stirring shit with unfounded allegations? In short, what the hell? Sheesh.

There are a few notable people with a multitude of alternate profiles. You have to expect it. This place allows for so many Wizards of Oz that it's ridiculous. Don't mind the man behind the curtain...
That and death threats. People can ceaselessly tell each other to fuck off and die without any repercussions. I'll bet the same handful of people are threatening through their cast of characters.

You get a cross section of society here, good folks, nad folks and stupid ugly socks. As i learnt the hard way, never think you know anyone till you've exchanged a dozen odd PMs or found common interests which tell you more about that person. And yes, some people are simply out to get you, ninja style. It's the open net, you're an anonymous bird. That has its pros and cons but compared tp the cultivated company on Facebook, this is like the wide open ocean.

That has nothing to do with you, personally. I have been burned too many times by people who beg for criticism and then go berserk when they get what they have asked for. That isn't about you. I am referring to others. You can probably guess. As for your stories, I have read many of them. More of them than you are aware. But we have had some bad altercations in the recent past; I much prefer the truce. I am being very careful to not do anything that could stir it up again, and that is why I won't comment on your work. For what it is worth, you are one of the most skilled storytellers on the Story Forum. You do not need that affirmation from me.

I think that the story forum has less participation because more people refuse (for whatever reason) to participate. New people do come online and take part, only to be driven off by others for reasons unknown. Well, it is (after all) a porn forum and we can't expect Tolstoy to show up and lead the way, can we?

It's a porn site, first and formost, The general foum is the the only part that is not about, watching sex, reading about sex, talking about sex or trying to get sex. I came here in 08 to watch the free movies. I found the porn stories next. Now I read the stories less, view the movies even less frequent. I read the forums more and they were the last part of the site I found. I don't post much or start that many threads, I have just a hair over 2k posts in 4 years. LOL Some people have that in 2 months. I've had my share of attackers, but I have also attacked others, it's few and far between but it happens.
Stumbler and I went at it quite often in 08 and 09 over various BS, that today I could care less about and for the most part don't remember. I would say that though we are not friends today, we do tend to agree on many issues, so at least we are not enemies. I don't seek out friends here, I think I have 2 listed in my profile. For the most part I think of the other people on here as ships passing in the night, a foggy night, a rainey night, a no moon night. The chances of meeting in rl are slim to none. To me real friends are the ones I can hug, have a meal with and look them in the eye when we laugh. Real enemies are the ones I can also look in their eyes as I end their life or they mine. Nevertheless, it is tiresome to have to defend a plotline in a place like Literotica, just because the plotline calls for rape or murder, or just because the 17 1/2 year old prom queen has to lose her virginity in a motel room. So, it was refreshing to come here and be able to post anything, without having to worry about censorship. That changed. I am not judging it. It is what it is. But it changed, and that killed the community.

The content of the stories I will leave to your imagination. I said to myself, "If this place will host a series called "Baby Fun," I sure as -bleep- won't have any trouble!" Since then, the "Baby Fun" series has disappeared, along with countless other instances. I am not judging whether that is a good thing or a bad thing. It just is. And for better or worse, the place is less diverse, as a result. And some of my stuff has been banned here, too. Even though it isn't even porn. Because the "rules" have been used against me, for whatever reason, sometimes by other writers. I am not into stories about unwed mothers diddling themselves while their boyfriends molest their infant girls. But I can tell you that if I were a newb now, today, lurking on this place and investigating to see whether I could expect trouble by posting here, I would not touch it with a ten foot pole.

As for Stumbler lying well you've typed in some doozies of your own. As per censorship sometimes it is necessary to weed out the bad blood so to speak. I'm not much of an imaginative story writer and leave that up to people who have the talent. I know I don't. I'm am no ones alternate account.
