It just seems to me that every time someone on here attacks the US (rightly or wrongly) your response is, it isn't our fault you Europeans started it. You insist that Europeans (which is a very general term btw) should take responsibility for previous crimes but seem blind to the crimes of your own country.
I suggest you learn actual history. The US was Isolationist for decades at least before they ever worried about the rest of the world. I'm not arguing anything; I'm stating facts.

It's kind of hilarious the way you Europeans always try to keep twisting things around like this. You fucked up almost the entire known world. The Middle East is YOUR fucking fault. The Americas are YOUR fucking fault. Indonesia? YOUR fucking fault. Asia? YOUR fucking fault. Australia, New Zealand? YOUR fucking fault. Ireland? Scotland? Wales? YOUR fucking fault.

You going to try to blame all of that on the US too?

They were Isolationist huh? what about the war of 1812? wasn't that just a self righteous attempt to steal Canada off the British while we were fighting a war for survival against Napoleon? You keep on going on about European crimes as if I don't know history. I have already stated that my country is responsible for some vile acts throughout history but you are unable to see what your own country has and is doing to the world. I pity you.

Anyway this is way off topic now so I will say no more.

Yes, they were. The War of 1812? ARE YOU FUCKING RETARDED? We fought the War of 1812 because the British kept fucking with us! You're an idiot who needs to learn the actual history of things. A war for survival? Are you fucking kidding me? You and France went to war because you were rivals, not "for survival".

You clearly DON'T know history. You have yet to admit to the full reality of what your country and others in Europe did to innocent people, innocent women and children, to almost every known part of the world. You keep trying to blame the US to cover up the fact that the only places the US has ever had a hand in fucking over were already fucked up by you Europeans! Also, I pity you that you can't see that your countries continue to do more to the world than the US ever has or ever could. Also, when did Apartheid end again? When did the last of your former "colonies" get their independence? What? You don't say? They still don't all have their independence? No way!

What on Earth are they teaching you kids in school over there? Jesus.

I can't believe I forgot to mention Africa in that last post, by the way.

Is there anything more annoying than a sanctimonious, flag waving "patriot"?

Stick an American flag on it and it is instantly wholesome and good. Anything from outside the land of milk and honey is despotic and evil.

It's like some sort of demographic mental illness.

....runs for cover as he awaits the red-neck shit-storm.

Yet another European projecting onto Americans. How surprising.

I'd say the same thing about any country that did what the European ones did, even my own. We do all the time around here. That's the difference between our country and the ones in Europe. We are much quicker to criticize than praise our country or the actions of those who make decisions for it.

Cough, splutter, guffaw!

You seriously don't know the Brits, we are always having a go at our leaders and ourselves.

I don't hear too many Americans saying "we got it wrong in Iraq" for instance. In the UK that's the overriding sentiment.

No you aren't, not about the actually awful things your country has done in its history.

You're kidding me right? The majority of Americans have been questioning Iraq ever since the war started.

How funny too that you're the ones who originally fucked up the Middle East in the first place yet you don't seem to ever mention that.

1) We Brits are fully aware of all the awful stuff that lies in our history, most of us are not proud of it but it was a long time ago and this generation is not directly responsible.

2) When Americans question Iraq do they do so because of the loss of Iraqi or American life? Personally its the Iraqis that have my sympathy, the civilians never had a choice to make, unlike the soldiers who knew what being a soldier could entail. The deaths in 9/11 were 2,977, Allied troop deaths in Iraq are around 5,000, civilian deaths in Iraq are estimated at 110,000! Civilians! That's men women and children! Imagine if it had been the other way around with 110,000 civilian deaths in the USA, are you getting the scale of this horror yet?

3) Again, if you are going to quote past history how far back do you want to go? Should we be having a go at the Italians for the Roman empire?

Forgive me for USA bashing, I'm sure there are millions of Americans who are sensible well balanced people who can see the global picture. It's just that all too often all we hear is the far right nationalistic voice saying USA! USA! USA!

1. Whether or not you're directly responsible, you directly benefit from it and instead of pointing out how awful it is are quick to align yourselves with those people whether intentionally or not.

2. Because we didn't believe Bush, because we didn't think it was necessary, because it was clear Bush just wanted to go to war with them without even entertaining the idea of not going to war with them. By the way, you killed millions of people for decades at a time around the world. Women and children too. You killed them in some of the most awful ways possible, all because you wanted what they had.

3. Don't ever compare yourselves to the Romans. They never once tried to pretend they were friends, didn't try to justify their actions, and were actually very tolerant of the people within the territories they legitimately conquered through hand-to-hand combat. You can't make any comparisons of what your countries did to what people past or present did because it's completely different. The fact that you keep trying to shows you're clearly not as self-critical a nation as you like to claim.

And where do you think that far-right voice comes from? Your fucking country's influence and that of other European countries who forced themselves on the world.

You fucking retard I already DO understand what my country has done in the past and i'm not fucking proud of it, I HAVE ALREADY SAID THIS. That doesn't change the fact that YOU ARE INCAPABLE OF DOING THE SAME WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR COUNTRY. You know some people would view that as a double standard?

You wanna talk about apartheid? did you know that in the US slavery was still accepted 30 years after the British had abolished it? Did you know that Abraham Lincoln was a racist?

"We fought the War of 1812 because the British kept fucking with us!" Well how fucking informative, James Madison was a warmongering Anglophobe (probably a bit like you) who used the British searching American Ships for deserters as an excuse to try and pull a fast one and steal Canada from the British while we were busy fighting Napoleon (who the US were supplying btw not the first time the US would back a tyrant), how did that turn out btw? oh yeah we chased you out of Canada and burnt down Washington.

So what exactly is your problem that you have to unconditionally hate Europeans with every fibre of your being? that's why I pity you, it must be hellish to live your life so filled with hate that you spend your whole life ranting on a fucking porn forum how many posts have you made? 30,000? have you ever been outside your house? You should try it sometime, who knows you might even get laid, but then again girls are often put off by egotistical pricks.

Anyway this is certainly going to be my last reply on this subject because quite frankly I have better things to do with my time. Cheerio.
