Since the 1960's in the U.S. reading to children at bedtime has declined by around 80%. If you have a child or grandchild then read to them if you want them to rise above text speak and the like or there will be no more need for libraries in the future.

Just remember not to read stories from here until they are 18 though.

I read to my kids each night and they grew to be avid readers. My grandchild is allowed to pick three stories before bed.

I wrote my first sex story when I was 13 I think it was 23 pages typed. From there it was just one story after the next mostly in notebooks and then I discovered the net in the late 90s and I actually started writing on the computer oh about. The time I got a real computer... wow I wonder how many stories I have actually written?

Possibly the Ocean (ironically enough in The Ocean) or under the coffee table when the characters are miniscule (in Marie's Christmas). I think my sexiest scenes are still to come.

Other than that, I'm not really that good at writing sex scenes. My imagination seems lacking.

My sexiest sex scene? I don't know, I will tell you when I actually write one I think is sexy.

I think it may be in the story my mother and I are collaborating on. (God! That sounds bad.) She cannot write but wants to tell a romance sci-fi story. She is giving me the story and I am writing it.

Once it is done I will decide what to do with it.

In my case it’s a tie between a hollow underneath a tree on a bed of leaves and branches (Bigfoot’s lair) in Megan and the Monster or a facsimile Santa’s Workshop from the story Santa’s Perverted Helper. But what can I say, I’m warped.

By the way I fondly remember ejls, hp and snow leopard’s scenes but I don’t recall the one from Clue.

Aside from The Grotto of Dreams (the second love scene in the depths of the caverns), I would have to say "Love in the morning" (husband and wife) or the one scene in "Winter War: legend of the Snow Fox," would contend for the 'best setting'

In the tale of Winters Dawning: Charities holiday to remember, the scenes qualify more as chaos incorporated, so I do not feel they qualify, nor the one for Miss Jasmine and Mister Phillips.

I may be your single biggest fan -- you know I've read everything you've posted on this site. That's one hot scene, ejls, but it's certainly not the only beautifully developed steamy thing you've written.



Since it's Saturday again, my favorites in my own work:

In "The Cheatin' Side of Town" the back-to-back shower and anal scenes may be the hottest in terms of pure raw smut -- they're the first two encounters between a teenage girl and a mature man.

Most romantic has to be the wedding night scene in "Snow Globe". It's a period piece with the couple losing their virginity to each other in 1967, so it's not hard-core porn, but I'm pleased with how it turned out. Runner-up in the romance category has to be the more explicit sex in "Loni".

My most disturbing scenes were the incestuous rape in "My Confession" and the knife-point rape and the gay scenes in "It Wasn't Me". I guess they work, but they're not something I see myself writing about again.
