CAW 12 - The Story Writing Phase

I can't wait for the list to go up. It's time to do some reading.

I was just wondering if the list was up can't wait to see what everyone has written

On the dying world of Genesis, among the rocky outcropping over the flowing river of molten rock, hellish temperatures all but setting the very air alight in flame and heat, two figures stand, contending for a simple piece of parchment...

(Kingon; holding his phaser on Kirk): "Give me the list, the list of all the CAW 12 entries or I will take it from your smoldering carcass human!"

(Kirk, casually holding up the list in one hand, extending it over the egde of the cliff, the parchment fluttering about in the extreme updrafts of hellwinds ascending in tempest strenght, just smiles) "You want the list you blasted Klingon, go and get it..."

With that the paper flies free of his grasping fingers, flying like a graceful bird of brown and gold across the thermal currents, only to be pursued by a raging, roaring, leaping Klingon commander who flies into the sky in one last, desperate leap to catch the vaunted treasure of the universe...

His hands grasp it fully, drawing it against his chest as he continues his descent to the fiery river below; his eyes widen as the words written upon its surface burn into his brain...

"I lied, sincerely Kirk."

(Kirk smiles as he sees the Klingon plunge into the molten stone; fires of molten rock bursting upward in ever more violent cycles of geysers and massive quakes, the clear sign of the planets impending death pangs and explosive ending...

"Scotty, beam me up right now were out of time...I have the real CAW 12 list here in my....huh..."

Kirk looks at the shimmering lights surrounding the CAW 12 list as it vanishes to the great starship that sails the eternal seas of night high over the world.

"Scotty, you forgot something..." An angry Kirk calls into his communicator.

"No captain, I just wanted to talk about that raise you have been promising for so many years..."

Kirk just rolls his eyes to the heavens.

I am sorry if that sounded rude, I wasn't meaning it to be. I couldn't remember if the list was going up today or tomorrow. By all means Horsey take your time. I have never hosted one of these but I can imagine how difficult it can be especially if there is a lot of entries.

You definitely had a great idea for this challenge and I am sorry I was unable to participate in this one, but I will say the idea I got for my story is getting close to 200 pages for me and i don't see it slowing down and I really don't think anyone wants to read that long of a story especially when it doesn't even have any sex scenes in it, but it did have some male nudity a few chapters back.

Well anyways I am rambling I just want to say good luck to everyone and I look forward to reading some great stories.
