HI: Looking through the posts in this forum,, I see that most get their pic by lifting them from someone elses web site... Why not make your own! that is where the fun is.. I started in photography full time in 1951 or 2? And started photographing women in 1951 or 2? Can't say that I plan to slow down soon.. Too much fun.. Glad to help those just starting.. Glad to talk about getting a subject to be your sex photo model..I do photography full time. Everything I post on the location are photos that I personally have taken.. From 1950 through today...

It is a lot easier than you think especially with today's technology.. Lots of tips on finding that willing model. NO I am not into the sneak photos, you know the ones with the hidden cameras.. This is a place to exchange ideas on getting started, and how you are going right now..

Well, I guess the first step is finding that digital camera I've always dreamed of.

I don't know if my GF would really appreciate my trying to get into erotic photography. Then again, she's pretty open-minded, and I don't think she's into stifling creativity.

You say girlfriend. Well I have been able to find something attractive from every person I know. Some may be a beatutiful hand.. Eyes.. lips.. butt.. woops do not move too fast..
And remember you do not need an expensive camera, especially if you are going to look at on a computer, or post it on the internet..

Well okay, got a disposable camera (black and white) and did a little photo shoot in a hotel room. I did one-hour developing for a while, so I know the rules. Kept the shots clean enough to have developed (Target is very, very impersonal when it comes to developing...you just drop the film and get the envelope a day or two later).

I just can't imagine her wanting me to photograph her regularly, and I'd like to expand with other girls (just pictures, mind you) without making her jealous.

You know when you were a little little kid and your teacher asked you, out of anything in the world, what would you like to be when you grew up? I always wanted to be a playboy photographer. Always.

Hey a disposable camera is ok.. I shoot film myself, (for a long list of reasons)(I also process my own film if need be) What I do is have my film processed, and a cd made No prints, No prof print (those little sheets that have all the pic on)
All that keeps down the viewing of your work by the employees of where ever you process.. Put the cd in your computer and off you go..
You have to gain the confidence of your subject, so don't go to raw X rated stuff too quick..
My very first nude subject (see my avitar and seated girl in this post) worked in a drug store lunch counter just downstaris from where I worked. SINCERE flattery got us to the point of shooting nudes under a bridge in the middle of Febuary in the mid west..

I would post my own pictures, but theres nothing really apropriate for here in any case.

I'd like to do people photography, and i'd like to try nude/erotic work, but I dont have the equipment and I've no idea how to get into that kind of stuff at the moment. Hopefully I will have more opportunities in future.

As far as the photography I have done is concerned, my favourite camera that I've used is my dad's Cannon EOS D20 (i think thats the one) but I've taken good photographs on a variety of cameras, both SLR and digital.

The cannon 20D is one of the best cameras out there right now.. But you do not need anything fancy for snaps to post on this forum..
One of the things you can promise your model, is that if they do not want, you will not show their face..
This gal worked for me, and I never thought she would be interested, but out of the clear blue she ask me to shoot her..

I am guessing that it was about 2 years ago.. I never guess a woman's age in front of her, but having known her for a good while, I know she is well over 30.

If the 20D is the fairly new one, the camera is probably a D20, which is still good, in my opinion. At least for the kind of photographs we do.

And for your second point, no you certainly dont need an amazing camera to produce decent photographs, and the skill of the photographer probably has a far greater effect.

The reason I wont post is because I dont actually have anything *to* post. Most of the stuff I have is artsy pictures of fire/sky/sunsets.

I agree with sticking with an idea, till it comes together,, I want to do a bunch of stills of a girl shaving,, it seems to be a popular subject. I love to work with mirrors, the light bouncing from the mirror improves the photo.. Keep it up

Love all the photos but on a related note, anyone have tips for getting into filming video? I've always wanted to do real couples and tasteful stuff where the women enjoy the sex as much as the men but I have no idea how to start, especially with the lack of money required to pay couples to model.
