Yeah, I try to play with a headset. My brother keeps the officialy PS3 headset, its missing the ear piece so its difficult to wear, so I'm using this bluetooth headset my mom gave me thats supposed to go with a phone. It works fine, I dont really see much of a difference. It's all a bitch when it comes to actually setting it up. I dont talk much online when I play anyway.

No, not a response to the hentai thing, just a general question. I just quoted the wrong post. I don't really want a blu tooth one because I don't want it dropping out on me in the middle of a game. Unless I can plug it up and keep playing if the battery is low like I can with my SIXAXIS controller.

Well, from my experience with both of the headsets I've used, I havent seen a difference. Most headsets will start beeping in your ear when they're low on battery. Other then that, they last a decent while when fully charged and I've never noticed anything where they stop working mid game.

Bumping this thread for the new week.
Just got Beatles Rock Band from Gamefly. I was never a huge Beatles fan, but from what few songs I've heard from them, they're really good, so I cant wait to see what this band is all about.

Currently playing MLB10: The Show and could be doing better for myself in it. Have a record of 19-21, last in the NL East, but here's the bright side, the leader is only 3.5 games ahead of me! I'm playing as the NY Mets (my pride and joy in baseball!) I've traded away 25% of my team for better players, but i still can't see,m to get over .500 for the season. Started off 2-8 for my first 10 games. Then got to .500 with a 12-12 before going on a 5 game slide then coming back for a 19-19 before losing my last 2 games. Glad Florida is only 1 game over .500 themselves leading the NL East!

My team (Giants) plays better when I sim games than when I actually play. I can't score a run to save my life.

until i figured out how to read the pitch speed, which is essential to timing your swing, i couldn't score for shit, either. But the 96mph fastballs are just as hard to hit in MLB10 The Show as they are in real life. But if you time it right and have ball influence just right..... The only gripe i have, and i can't say this for 2k10, is that in MLB10 the show, it's way to easy to steal bases. In 40 games i've played, i've stolen a MLB high 46 bases. Damn near stole home for a trophy but Jose Reyes was called out by less than half a step!!! But it's also easier to get out of a rundown, especially between 1st and 2nd!

I've considered buying a ps3 just for the show. Everything I've read says it's so much better than 2k10. The pitching mechanics on 2k10 took me forever to get the hang of but I guess if you are offering a million dollars for a no hitter it has to be that way.

I've been doing a lot better on being more selective on which pitches I swing at but I know my timing is still way off. I can get base hits but can't seem to drive in runs.

I'm still first in the NL west at least.

Dr. Venture, in the show you also get a plate coverage indicator to place your swing. That's another factor that messes me up especially with sliders down. You can have a perfectly timed swing and still miss the ball badly by either swinging under the pitch up or swinging over the pitch low. Lol, if you aim it just right, you can get a check-swing HR!!! (that only worked once at Yankee Stadium). Did it with David Wright off Andy Pettit.

Beatles Rock Band is AMAZING! I love this vocal harmonies thing. I'm glad they're going to carry it over to Rock Band 3. Cant wait to play more.

I just picked up a new game that i am kinda shocked nobody has said anything about yet: Alan Wake. the game has been in Dev for 7 years and it is beautiful. i try to describe it to people like what you do in the game and such but it is very much like a "Heavy Rain" mixed with "Uncharted 2". its a game where you drive but it isnt a driving game. you have a gun but it isnt a shooter. instead it is story driven. while the combat is alot of fun it isnt the reason you keep playing the game. It's divided up into six episodes and the only time i saw any framerate issues was in Episode 4 which was kinda a bummer. Definately an early contender for Game of the Year though without a doubt. Atleast on 360

I played through it already, really good, I think the best Pokemon games since the original Gold and Silver, and the Pokewalker was ingenious.

No matter what you say or do, my brother has played more then you. 10th prestige level 70, quick scopes DURING actual gameplay and still comes out on top. Guy can one shot people with easy with a Magnum. He regularly challenges people to one on one matches when they piss him off and he destroys them.

I brought my Korean-purchased PS3 with me home on vacation only to find out that it requires 220v power and American outlets only do 110v. Even if I find an adapter for the plug it's still not going to get enough juice. So I had to buy a Step Up Transformer on Amazon for 20 bucks (plus $18 for 2 day shipping).

But, before I realized that, I bought Red Dead Redemption and Bioshock. I'll be playing those later in the week, I imagine.

I havent even played the first Mario Galaxy game. I remember playing it, but that the small, spherical levels really threw me off, I could barely play it. This is, like, from 5 minutes of playing, though, I'm sure it's an amazing game. I'd buy it, but my Wii barely works. I need to reset it over and over again for anything to show on the screen, and then I need to pray and hope it reads the disc. It's a launch Wii.

I'm sure it would work after all that, though. Maybe when I'm done with Beatles Rock Band, I could get Super Mario Galaxy from Gamefly and see it it'll work on my system.

FINALLY done with Beatles Rock Band. Phew...now that the game is done converting me into a Beatles fan, I wonder if I should buy the game or not. I like the Vocal harmony stuff, but I doubt I'll ever get even a second mic...but it has such good music!!

Now I'll probably move to Lego Rock Band and try to learn how to sing all the songs there.

It's somewhat realistic. One shot from a tank wont bring down a whole building, it'll make a big hole in the wall, but you still need to bring down a wall or maybe two to make the building fall apart. But then again, I've only played the multiplayer demo, so what do I know.

Me, I'm only playing WoW right now, sometimes I play Warcraft 3 too, but mostly WoW. I used to play a lot of Halo 3 on my 360, but meh, it got boring.

Kinda reminds me of the old glitch in the NES where you had to blow on the cartridges and bounce them up and down in the console to get them to work, coupled with furious pumping of the reset button. It's nice to see some things never change.

That wasnt a glitch, that was a god damned lifestyle, lol. Everything, Genesis carts, Game Boy carts. I think I needed to clean gamecube discs everytime I wanted to play them.
