I find that I end up in the "friend zone" way too offten. As far as how I would like it to go down, I really dont know. Thoughts of a hooker to teach me, but thats kind of a cop-out. I'm only 21, but I feel exactly the same way. Still a virgin, never been on a date, no REAL kiss... My first kiss, and every one since, has come from one of my gay friends... And it's only been a quick peck.

Truth be told, I'm so nervous now that given the opportunity, I'm not sure what I would do. I feel so anxious that I will be terrible at it, that's it difficult to actually make it happen... I tend to avoid situations where the right opportunity could arise because of nerves. SO what started out as choice has turned into an issue I can't figure out.

As far as how I want it to go down: at this point, I just want it over and done with (if I can get past the anxious-ness). I want it to be with someone I know and trust, but it doesn't matter if there's romantic ties or not (I don't get emotionally tied to people, especially over things like this)... My first time was when I was fifteen, and it wasn't exactly quite the best experience. As it always seems to happen with first timers (that I know of), I was out on a drunken escapade at a party with friends trying to get laid for my first time and I scored.... very quickly.

I have taken the virginities of a few friends. In high school, that was the running joke at our big table of friends. I'm a virgin still at 25 for a variety of reasons. First it was probably the conservative values I was raised with; which are now long gone. I'm the type who worries about how an accidental pregnancy would affect my future so I've prioritized getting through school and becoming independent first. I've had some anxiety issues that I've had to overcome that have delayed my primary goal of independence. I'd prefer my first time to be with someone I know, that I like and respect. Finding someone I'm remotely interested in who is free to enter a relationship is a chore because my "type" is fairly uncommon/I'm very selective. I have asperger's, and part of that is difficulty picking up on subtle communication cues. Since women mostly seem to show interest through subtle hints I tend to be oblivious to their interest. I don't know how to express sexual interest or at what point it is appropriate to express it because of inexperience. I tend to either be polite or blunt, mostly polite since I have enough sense not to be blunt.

I think that's about it. I've had plenty of time to contemplate the issue over the past year or so that I've been done with school, with only employment and saving up for my own place left of my more important priorities.
