My day to day life is fine actually. I am not treated poorly at all. But I can only speak for myself and some friends who are also in wheelchairs. Like me they have got great attitudes and nothing can put us down. Only ourselves.

I posted that picture because my attitude is not always the same with others.

I am sorry to hear about your son and what he has to deal with in life so far. And for yourself and your husband. There are a lot of very ignorant people out there. They are scared of something that they don't understand and are not willing to understand.

Just do the best you can with raising him and preparing him for his life in the future. And deal with those who don't understand the best you can. That is all you can do.

I was injured in July of 2010, so I'm new to this wheelchair business. Most people that I have had contact with are quite helpful. If you run into a particularly difficult individual, there's always the handy Teaser!
I did get a real charge out of this image. Think it has Mrs. Sw#3 pegged.

The simple answer would be that yes a paralyzed person can cum. Depending on the level of injury and if the spinal cord is severed or not. A guy with a pinched spinal cord can shoot his cum where as a guy with a severed spinal cord can not.

I am not completely sure with the girls but I am sure that is the same when it comes to their orgasms. I do know that it can actually intensify a woman's orgasm to a level they have never had before their injury.

Capt. You have a great attitude, I know it's not always easy. My mom is in a power chair, she's 88. Our family has been out to eat a various places and for the most part have had no problems, but every so often you get other customers that look at her funny or get pissed if she happens to bump their chair or table. It's hard on her, she feels bad about it.

One of the funny things that happened though was dad and I were loading the chair on to it's carrier, the battiery was low so it was taking a while to lift. This van with a handy cap sign hanging from the rearview is sitting waiting for the parking place, the ass driving it is running his mouth, waving his hands, even blew his horn. I'm thinking "what a jerk"! So we finally get the lift up and the chair secured. My dad pulls out and leaves, with the jerk still running his mouth. I walk to my car and watch the jerk get out of the van and walks into the resturaunt. Now I'm pissed, just as I'm about to go back in and lay into the guy a cop pulls in. So I tell the the cop what happened, the cop runs the number on the Handy Cap sign and finds out it's bogus. Not only that the plates on the van are expired. So the cop goes in Denny's and bring the jerk out, I pointed him out to the cop with a big smile on my face. I wanted the guy to know it was me. They ended up arresting the guy because he did not have drivers lic. LOL

I use a manual chair and I have had my share of bumps in tables at public places. Especially is restaurants. Not a lot of them are all that wheelchair friendly with all the chairs and tables. It's always "pardon me, excuse me, pardon me, you might want to move your kid" and I deal with it the best I can which is always the friendliest way possible.

When it comes to the parking I don't know about over where you live but here it's like everyone has a disability. Finding a open handicapped parking spot is a real bitch sometimes. And most of the time the driver just steps out and walks along. I don't mind most older folks or some people but yeah you just get those assholes like in your story that just take advantage of that shit. One guy did the other night where I was at. I didn't say nothing that time only because there was a lot of them open and it was real late but if it was earlier I would asked him to move his car. Unless he pulls attitude than it different.

Well be glad that you are not because based on your attitude from this post you would have been very bitter with your life if already are not. There are always those who are when they first find out that they will be paralyzed for the rest of their lives. Some get over it and others don't. They have to realize that being bitter for the entire time just does not make things better. It simply makes it worse. Believe me when I say I have a whole lot to be bitter about but that is not my attitude and never has been.

I admit that I am paralyzed. I am not ashamed by it one single bit. I don't know what you are talking about that people will pick you like Eagels for being paralyzed. No one has. AZRIEL had tried to beacuse that is the way he is, he tries to get under your skin but he soon noticed that I simply don't give a fuck and just went with it.

Hi forum, I was wondering about a thread like this. I'm not paralyzed, but it was interesting to hear from people on here who are paralyzed or have some kind of disability. I was glad to read some positive responses that some people had written on here. I see that they're having a positive outlook on life. I would like to take the time to thank thecaptain for creating this thread and others like him to post their responses on here.

Hey there thesilent1, thanks for your post. When I started this thread I did it because since I do know how people with disabilities can be. They don't want anyone to know that they are paralyzed or maybe have another disability because they feel that they will be looked at or thought as funny. That is not the case and no matter what your disability is you can always get through life better with a sense of humor.

I am sure there have been many paralyzed members on here through the years and even still now but because they may feel out of place they either don't mention that they are or just don't post like a lot of other people.

For those that may be paralyzed don't be scared to post.
