Who the fuck are these people, I recognise three names and on investigation #s 3,5,8 and 9 have no activity on the site and the others have very little. Do they visit my page and decide not to stay on the basis of my profile or do others get these visitors.

I'm surprised anyone should need to visit your profile page. Reading your posts will tell anyone much more about you than anything you would have written on your page. It's probably newcomers who don't know what is in the profile. When I arrived I assumed I would find links to stories that members had written but then discovered that the forum and the stories section are two separate entities.
However I agree with you that people who join the forum and then do nothing is strange. It makes me think there are more socks out there than we think.

I agree on all of your points but I find it odd that they choose to visit my page, nosy fucking twats. As to your first point I think I will try to be a little more aloof and mysterious from now on, or I might just go on a twatting rampage.

Oh and some folk do have links to their stories on their profile, just not that many.

I rarely pay attention to my last 10 visitors unless something like this gets brought up or I actually make myself think about it. So maybe I check it once a week when I'm on enough. But it looks the same as yours Richiefs---1 or 2 that I know and the rest are passerby's/stranger's/creeper's. They rarely PM me either so at least they actually seem to read my warning in my signature. I can't complain.

I can't remember the last time I sent a request but I have ended up with around forty friends, I just find it an easy way of finding the people I like to chat with, sort of like an address book, some folks seem to think it is a way of keeping score as though a friends list of 2000 means anything. I won't accept a friend request unless I have interacted on the boards.

There's many reasons to check someones profile,sometimes people are just interested in getting more info on a person starting a post, or maybe where there from, or just to veiw there album but either way whats the big deal half the time people ask to check there albums and other posts anyway.

At least in the United States, school is OUT in most areas.

What that means is that more KIDS (and here I mean 18 and UNDER) are home during the day when their PARENTS are not.

Which means that more of them are on the computer checking out porn and XNXX is very popular.

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to keep children off XNXX if 1) their parents do not have parental control locks on their computers and 2) if the 12 year olds join as members and SAY they are 27 year old engineers working on a Post-Grad degree.
