Linking Own original stories to my own website

hello I wanted to know if this is ok.
I want to Create stories for this website, to witch all my stories that has more then one chapter would be stored on my own website or blog site. Readers can read the other chapters there. All my stories well be on this website with the first chapters only.
Someone please tell me if this is something i can do have a link placed in my stories to my own website. Depending on the length of my stories I would keep at least one or two chapters on this website. Also I could place a back link From my website if needed or directed to by the site Moderator.
