I don't know that I can define what's "normal" or that anyone can. I do know that I've know plenty of women, online and in real life, who have rape fantasies, including some who've actually been raped.

As for whether this is healthy, that's up to the professionals.

It's completely normal. A lot of women have rape fantasies, and a lot of men have them too. It stems from a need to feel protected and sheltered. That need sometimes becomes a need to be controlled and dominated. For men it's often the opposite, and they fantasise about dominating and controlling women. The fantasy can be exciting as an solitary exercise. It can also be exciting as a role play scenario, as long as it's in controlled conditions. If you want to act it out, make sure it's with someone you can trust. Ensure that there is a safety word in place incase things get too intense. As long everyone knows what's going on, no problem!

LOL, there are some people out there that contend that every straight woman has rape fantasies. Me, I'm not so sure about all that but it does click with the female psyche when it comes to sexuality. That and any other sort of "dominating" role for the male are very common amongst females so tell your friend she should feel very normal.

Besides, whatever gets a person off is great for them. Putting it into reality can cause various moral dilemmas sometimes but there is nothing really wrong with fantasies.

it's ok and they get a real kick out of it, so i think it is totally normal to have that need, especially when life can be so demasculinized that some women just want to be taken like that.
