Non-Americans on xnxx
I recently joined the site under the non de plume of hornypixy because lets be honest, most people here won't join under their own name. What if you're recognised? The shock!
Anyway,the more stories i read, the more i realise that most of the people on here are from America. I'm from South Africa and i haven't seen many people from other nations on here. I love reading stories from other countries, but so far its been USA all the way. Are there anybody here who's not American? Or are there any non-American stories thats really good to read? i've only posted two stories so far, haven't gotten a lot of comment so far. Im hoping no news is good news, but i would love some pointers and constructive ideas. English is not my first language, but i think i have the potential to be a not-too-shabby writer if i keep it up. I'd love to learn from the experts! so if you have any ideas or advice, please let me know... i'm all ears. |

For English not being your first language, I'd say you write better than the majority of people that post here!
There are a lot of people from America, but there are also a lot of people from the UK, Australia, and even a New Zealander or two. Being that it's an English-speaking website, and being that the US is the largest English-speaking country, it would make sense that US users are big here. As for non-US stories, I know that Cijababe writes, and she's from the UK. There are quite a few writers from the UK, but I can't think of any more at the moment. :/

thanks chagrin, that's pretty much my same conclusion about the language thing. thanks for your comment about my writing
 its always nice to recieve positive feedback. i've read some stories on here that made me wonder if the writer was a third grader. then this happened and then that happened and then they came, if you know what i mean! i would love ideas on what i can do to make my stories better, especially since i want to become a writer (outside the fantasies in my head where i win awards, that is!) but i've checked out those stories, pretty good. Got me thinking, and thats the idea, isn't it?

Thanks Chagrin - I have written but have a bit of a block right now. Looking through the recommended list, here are some who are from outside the US that I know of. There's Jayneyredd, MrFors, smcaaphd, X orion and Wimmers from the UK. Lowlandriders is Dutch I think I think - (he's not logged in since last year though, no idea what's happened to him) Not that guy and Scotsmitch2001 from NZ and Patlaborvi is from India I think.

Is it that you only want to read stories by writers not living in the USA? Do you want to read stories that are staged in other countries? Just because I live in the US doesn't mean that I don't have stories that took place in Manchester, England, Scotland, Korea, an implied old England, Dublin and one story where you have no idea what country it was.
In my opinion, by not reading stories that took place in the US, you are denying yourself the pleasure of enjoying some really great writing.

Hello I'm one of the few people here who seem to be from Asia. I'm from india and yes the stories one usually gets are set in America or written with an American mindset. Plus the english is American which means a lot of ',u's have to be deleted. It was one of the reasons why I started writing. Where I come from there are no cheerleaders limousines or dollars (lol). So I decided to write fantasies that I had based on my own experiences rather than a bagful of cliches taken from the predominant porn genres of the west. I've been criticized and praised but it's all been from the west. Even the two who actually were indian lived in UK. so yeah not much from this corner of the globe,and I don't see the situation imrpving in the coming days. Guess I'll have to keep a inr to USd converter handy for a long time to come.

It all goes back to 1808 when the US suffered a shortage of vowels in their printing shops, that coupled with a complete disappearance of the letter "N" changed the way they spell forever. my home language is actually Afrikaans, and yes, we do have elevn official languages, of which Afrikaans might soon no longer be one. Long, political story. To be honest, apart from Afrikaans (which is a simplified form of dutch) and English, all the languages are clicky. i've lived here four twenty four years and i wont be able to tell you if somebody was speaking Zulu, sotho or Xhosa. They sound pretty mucgh the smae to the untrained ear(like mine.)
I think i might have been a little unclear. I don't mind at all reading stories about the US. In fact i love them, because i'm moving there next year if all my plans work out. I just wondered about the different cultures available on here. i honestly don't mind where a story plays off - as long as the sex is good it can be in Narnia for all i care. and the Americans dropped the U's so they could create cool new words. The problem is, they're also dropping the R's now, turning your mother into yo mama, lol.And now, i don't mean to be insulting when i say that. It would be considered a joke here in South Africa. Though, admittedly, not a very funny one. |
