Calling All Readers, Chapter 11 - The Entries

For this challenge, I decided to revisit one of my favorite challenges and respectfully present to you the photo you see below..

What do you see? What do you feel? Is she searching for something or someone? Is she going somewhere, or leaving? Let your imagination lead you down this street.

The picture doesn't have to be the beginning of your story; it could well be the end, or even appear in the middle. Just use the picture as your inspiration and see where it takes you. The genre is at the discretion of the individual author, staying within the guidelines of the site.

Sorry, I was mostly confused since I too really need to be sleeping, and didn't know if some dropped out or were disqualified already. I am so happy I was wrong on both accounts. My mind can get really paranoid when I get tired, so I am sorry for jumping the gun.

there is a sock named DonKeyCoq that was created this morning and has already voted down HWNN, WSF and my story.

No doubt he or she is a writer in our group or someone that was banned. Don't know who the member is but wanted to let everyone know so maybe we can make a positive ID.

I haven't read their stories yet but I'll be giving both HWNN and WSF a positive vote on the Stories site in an effort to help offset the trolls evil deed.

I've given up on even visiting the site now as votes are no indication of quality. It's beginning to look as though CAW will become limited to stories posted on the forum which is a shame as it calls out to a lesser reader base.

Mind you, I recently decided to post stories on another site where there is a waiting time before stories are published. They figure on an "upcoming" list for about a week. You can imagine how frustrating it is to see some get positive votes and others negative votes before anyone has had the chance to read them. Of course the positive votes are all in favour of a small band of writers.

Emerson, what the fuck? Posting a comment like that on a story (the most blatant one you've written so far, but they're all a little "off") IS doing damage to it!

It's fine to not like a story. I don't like everyone's stories. I don't like some of yours, even though I'm a huge fan of your work, and I sure as hell don't like some of mine. Some of Jack's are brilliant (and have gotten a few hits), and some aren't on my all-time favorites list. It would be pretty boring, pretty "dull and ordinary" if we all wrote and liked the same thing in the same way, wouldn't it?

So, you don't like Jack's entry, or entree, or whatever cute thing you want to call it. Fine.

But.

This is supposed to be a fun challenge where everyone gets together and has a good horny time writing and reading stuff. Why do we have to get so competitive about it? Do you want to measure the length of cumshots next?

I'm sorry to be calling you out in such a rude way. I'm sure this will backfire in my face, as most behavior that goes against generally accepted rules of decorum does.

I just think it's a shame.

EDIT: I'm not advocating empty praise for stuff we don't like. If a story suck, it sucks. There are, however, a variety of ways to respond when confronted with a story that you think sucks. One is to shut the fuck up.

It doesnt show a true reflection of my story, the % as it doesnt truely acknowledge whether they read it or that it was poorly scripted. Most wanna bully u out of writing or releasing in the main site, so there stories will always be on top, no matter what.... Been like that for a long as I can remember..

Apparently, in an attempt to rescue entrants' works from the likes of marcdoodle and DonKeyCoq on the Sex Stories site, CAW SOP put a logged-in vote on all the stories entered in the CAW.

You're right, CAW SOP is a sock. There's no actual rule about having a sock account -- it's just that some people use their socks to be dickheads, saying things they would never say with the identity that is usually used. CAW SOP voted on all sixteen of our stories, so none of us got an unfair advantage over the other, but possibly we got exposure for our stories by having higher ratings. It was too late for a lot of us, myself included.

None of that has anything directly to do with the CAW here on the forum, unless it happens to draw readers here who don't normally hang out on this part of the site. If that happens, good!
