It's way too labour intensive to make naan bread, and it's easy to buy here. I have made some from a mix and it was very nice. There were leftovers, but all gone now.

I know it wasn't my post but 'lashings' means 'lots' or 'plenty' As in Enid Blyton's childrens' book, in which they drink 'lashings of ginger beer'.

You might be able to find it at local markets. Like the little ethnic groceries. I know GOYA makes it, I just don't know how good it tastes.

I was going to post what I had for dinner but I can't remember thats what happens when you try to cram a year's worth of missed beers with your buddy into one night. Damn it's good to have a friend state side again even if he is national gaurd

Here is one of my recipes.

Taco Salad

4 taco hard shells
3 cups iceberg lettuce
1 cup green bell peppers , chopped up
1 cup sweet onion , chopped up
1 cup cheeder cheese

Just add everything to the tacos shells. You can also add others items that you like to this recipie.

I haven't made this in a while:

Shrimp Pasta

1 lb linguine
1/2 lb shrimp (peeled, deveined)
1 12oz can of diced tomatoes
1 small can of tomato paste
1/2 purple onion, diced
1 clove garlic minced
1 red bell pepper diced
1 orange bell pepper diced
salt and pepper to taste
olive oil

Boil water, add pasta. Saute vegetables in olive oil. Add can of tomatoes and paste once vegetables are soft, drop heat to medium-low, simmer. After a few minutes, add shrimp to tomatoes and cover. Cook pasta 10-11 minutes. Drain pasta, toss with olive oil. Add tomatoes and shrimp, serve with a pinch of basil.

You could easily buff this recipe up for 60 people.
