I would venture to say that isn't that uncommon. I know for me the sex in my stories is based on real things I've done, so as I'm writing I'm digging deep into my memories for details.

That's a tempting thought but even at my age when I write the sex parts to my stories I still can't help but leak pre-cum. It would be very embarrassing to stand up and have a wet spot on the leg of my jeans in public like that.

actually, I didn't get turned on at all when rereading it. but I was thinking up the details of the scene as I was writing, so when it was fresh that's when it did it for me. (I had the overall idea in mind beforehand but that was all very... sterile.. for lack of a better word)
