Whats the difference between cd, tv, and shemale

There are tons of CDs and TVs like me, but I don't think I've ever seen a real Shemale on here

TV (transvestite) and CD (cross-dressing) both mean the same thing; a guy dressing in women's clothing, or vice versa. (Of course, nowadays, women routinely dress in men's clothing and have done for half a century, so it's not a deviation. Men still can't wear dresses and be viewed as "normal.")

Shemale is a term for someone who has both male and female genes. Usually, in terms of porn, it means tits and a dick.

yep, a crossdresser is one by choice and perhaps sexual orientation (anyone can be that) but a shemale is often one by birth due to genetic or somatic errors, and can either choose to remain one for life or undergo corrective hormone therapy and surgery. I don't know how far one can turn into a shemale from a male or female though.

Transvestite: Derivative from two Latin and Greek words (trans) meaning to cross and (vesti) meaning to dress hence to cross dress. So (CD) Cross dress and (TV) Transvestite are the same in meaning.


Transgendered (TG): Medial term for one who is with born with a body of one gender and the brain of another.


Hermaphrodite: Where a person is born with both sexes.


She male: A person ( generally male) who voluntary alter his appearance to take on the female persona .


Trans sexual: A person born transgendered who has his/her body altered to match what their brain tells them they should be.

YES. I am cross gendered and I never had the sex change. So basically I am a she male (although I never had any operations to alter my body) also I am everything I mentioned in my previous post except being a transsexual. Does these posts also answer the original question.

i guess they would. I'm trying to emphasize that crossdresser is cosmetic shemale is biological. though from what i've read if the correct hormones are taken one would automatically develop breasts , unless the person wanted big breasts, that's another matter.

You might spend some time on such sites as shemale forum; crossdressers.com, pinkessence.com, and learn a few things. Nothing is really simple.

The term transgendered has been butchered by the psychiatrists to not only include people with different sexual identity between brain and body; but also to include something which has nothing to do with it: sexual preference.

Shemales, at least the few I know who are in porn consider themselves women with penises, and they do love to use their usually gigantic ones. See tonyaworld.com for example.

Among the transexual people (TS) there are two types: female to male, ftm,f2m; and male to female; mtf, m2f. So there are women with penises and men with vaginas and wombs.

The ftm's take testosterone and it does a great job in masculinizing their formerly semi-female body. Facial hair, deeper voice, more muscle mass. It may enlarge the clitoris too. I have seen pictures of some pretty gigantic ones. Buck Angel is a well known porn example. Buck is HE with a vagina, etc.

The mtf's take testosterone blockers like finasteride or spironolactone, and there are others, but the primary one is spiro, as we call it familiarly.
They also take estradiol sublingually, or estrogen shots, or estrogen patches. These have the effect of growing breasts, unfortunately NOT affecting the voice, reducing upper body muscle mass, and reshaping the body's fat into a more female shape. Which is also how the shemales get their beautiful female bodies, but they either don't use T blockers or else they start T treatment later to restore male functionality. Believe me, after a year of E and T blockers there is no male functionality and you are sterile in nearly all cases. Those changes, as the ones in ftm's are permanent.
Oh yeah, the ftm's also have their breasts removed surgically and the bone and musculature resculptured to be more male. See Buck Angel or one named Ryder. Even the scars are practically invisible.

Then there are people who live and feel sometimes male, sometimes female, regardless of which type of genitalia they have. They are now referred to as GenderQueer. Sometimes also called androgynous, some of them deliberately dress so you can't tell if they are male or female.

Hermaphrodites is now a BAD WORD....the politically correct word is now INTERSEXED. Having both male and female organs either partially or fully functional.

Crossdressers (transvestites -used in the UK) always consider themselves male except when dressed female. They have no desire to live and become women. However, many transexuals (TS) start out as CD's crossdressers.

There is not a lot of love between the CD's and the TS's. In fact in our town, the CD organization has banned TS's from attending functions.

LGBT, LGBTQI, are abbreviations for covering Lesbians, male gays, bisexuals, transexuals, genderqueer, and intersexed people.

The organizations fight together to secure equality for all under the law;
NV just passed a law effective Oct. 1, 2012 making illegal to discriminate against a transexual person in housing, employment, or public facilities.

There are no female CD's because all women crossdress: jeans, men's shirts, men's hats, etc, and it has never been an issue in recent times.

I am sure no TS would ever want to be called a CD or TV or shemale.
Ftm's should be addressed with male pronouns in English; mtf's should always be addressed with female pronouns in English.

I have personally cut off all contact with a supposed friend who always referred to me when speaking to others in the wrong gender and when confronted said she would say anything she pleased to anyone she pleased; that is fine with me, but I don't need anyone like that in my life.

AND VERY IMPORTANT: There is no cure for being born transexual except to transition to the gender your brain not your body is. It can't be removed by prayer, or incantations or witchcraft. They lose their mate, their job, their home, their friends, their children in some cases just to be who they really are.
And this applies both to ftm's and mtf's. For some reason the GODS decided we needed more mtf's than ftm's so you hear more about them.

AND ALSO: There is no cure for being gay or lesbian or bisexual; you are born that way, not taught it. Again the idiots that think they can cure gayness with religion have quite an abysmal record - 17% and those are the TRUE BELIEVERS who have been very thoroughly brainwashed.

Operations: for mtf's its called GRS in England, and Canada; and SRS in the
US. Some of the best doctors are in Thailand. A fully functional vagina and clitoris with inner labia is formed from tissue of the penis and scrotum.
There are operations to create a penis for ftm's, and they may have a hysterectomy.

Recently there was a news article about a MTF who using stem cells had grown her own womb, ovaries, etc, and got pregnant in the normal way; the birth is supposed to be this fall. This has great impact for all of the TX people, as it means it is now possible to fully grow your own "correct" genitalia. However, it may be years before it is available.

Orchiectomy is a stage that some TS mtf's elect; removal of the testes, so that T blockers are no longer necessary for their development. It costs around $3000. SRS costs may run from $13000 to 50,000.

In other languages the gender pronoun goes with the noun not the person referred to, as I learned quickly in Italian translations; but I had French and Spanish so I really already knew about it.
