I am travelling at the moment and I just left Italy and I loved it. Went to Venice, Florence and Rome. Would have loved to do more of Italy. I am currently in montenegro and it's a beautiful country. I will be travelling up towards Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia Poland and into mainland Europe and finish in Ireland where I will visit some cousins

I like the USA but can do without the political bullshit of it. My next favorite country is Ukraine.

In no order, my top 3 would be the United States, Canada and Australia.

Aside from those 3 which are my first choices, I would like to add that my favourite European country would be Scotland, followed by the Isle of Man and Germany. I love German people, I find them hilarious, pretty much every single German I have ever met is funnier than every Brit I have ever known, anyone that tells you that Germans have no sense of humour are just flat out wrong. Everything in that country stereotypically works perfectly, they have good beer, everything is just great there. Not sure why I feel I have to defend my opinion that Germany is one of the best countries in the world, while I don't with the others, maybe it is because people don't believe me when I tell them.

I have been to most European countries but not all. Italy was the worst (basically I didn't like the Italian people of Milan, sorry to any Italians that may offend). Sweden sucked too, mainly because I couldn't afford anything there, it rained every day, and there was nothing to do.

Best country to visit for a Holiday? I travelled to India, that place is unbelievable.

I would also like to add that based on political and economic ideals, I hold places like Hong Kong and Singapore in high regard. I think they offer the best template to run a country.

Quite a varied answer, but I like different places for different reasons.

Dave, I lived in Germany for the longest time, and agree with your assessment of the place, though I did meet a few Germans who were less than amused when they found an AFV 432 parked on their new Merc and Audi. But on the whole the place is the epitome of good beer and people with a sense of humour little understood, plus it worked and was clean.
