I have one more tattoo I want to get but I can't get one of the names transalted it seems. I have always adored japanese caligraphy but having an accurate translation of english based names into it has been too difficult so far.

I have had serious thoughts of being pierced, and my doctor does do it, just havent had the nerves to do it as yet

be carefull I know a tattoo guy he tells me stores all the time that the words DO NOT MATCH make sure the words are right.....check it again and again....I have 3 tattoos and want more....so not just sum guy.......

Tattoo removal, job of the future. Guarantied lifetime employment. 10 yrs from now there is going to be a lot of sorry people wanting tattoos removed.

hell i have the entire jap alphabet on file somewhere but its a matter of word relations

Your best bet in translation is to #1 find out if your name has an underlining meaning (as most do) #2 search for a Kanji calligrapher (which is the writing used to translate common words) most nationalities will have a society such as Japanese/American that teach language, translate text or prepare a student for abroad studies? Make sure to take the time as I know too many stories of people who's tattoos should read "Pain, Fear, Joy:" only find out they read totally wrong including one I know that read "Whore!" when she meant "Pleasure"
