Raising kids as nudists?

It doesn't unless you are one of those that is the reason why nudists are constantly under scrutiny due to those who are a ratio proportional number of predators among them.

I don't have any kids, but if I did I would not have any problems with teaching them that nudity is not something to be ashamed of or dirty if done in the proper manner.

BUT, you have to way all odds on that one. yes you may, feel relax

again, you have to worry about the POTENTIAL harm to the KIDS.
if it's a family-oriented nudists resort, than no one should be of concern.

i have a 6yr old daughter and i'm not shy about being nude around her nor do i give her any indication that it is wrong to be nude, but she does know there is a place and time for it.

I don't want her growing up to be ashamed of being nude or her body. Her mother is a size 12 but very sexy and she doesn't really like sleeping naked, much less be naked in the house. I got her to go naked in our pool several times, she liked that.

It's liberating and just an awesome feeling being naked. i don't care what size you are, GET NAKED....but just be aware that many people may not like it .lol

Nudists are of a special mentality that transcends what you or I might think of being nude and separate the family resorts from the "there could be sex" swinger type retreats? I don't have kids yet. I wasn't raised as a nudest, I started after I left home for college. I see nothing wrong with it as long as they understand there is a time and place for it.

Yes, its liberating! I'll be sad to see summer go when I can no longer be nude outside in comfort.

So I have to ask, are you saying that all singles, gays and bi people are sexual predators? You are aware that most family oriented camps have strict rules against sexual contact in public places, or almost any contact for that matter, also almost all of them have rules that you have to stay with your child at all times, aside from the bathroom. Many of them that allow kids are quite rabid in their protection of the kids and will stop any advance they deem unsafe. They do this to keep their own asses out of the fire. Not every people who goes there will have a family, that would be discrimination. Plus if a person is willing to pay them a hundred bucks a year or so, most places would not turn away money, because if someone thought that they were discriminating, soon the camp would be empty of people.

Are you picturing a group of people by the lake shore, in a giant orgy? That would never happen in a family orientated place. You realize how many professional lawyers and judges may go to these places? My Parents used to go to one ten years ago and they knew a couple that brought their children, ages 6 to 14. The man never had a single problem at all and yes, there were gay people there. There were single people there at the same time.

Are you saying that a father of seven will never be a gay child abuser? I have met several men who say they are gay and have several children, because they hid who they were at first. Do they attack children, no. I have known others who are straight and attacked their own daughters.

Does it happen? Maybe, but don't automatically claim a place is unsafe because someone who fits the classification (single, gay or bi) You may have no idea who the gay or bi person is. You may not realize that the guy there with the family is actually a single uncle.

What about couples who can't have children? Should they be denied and treated as potential attackers?
