Magnus, i've never tried alcohol in the mix, but i do enjoy to mix things in, especially milk. its a natural way to thicken the fluid.

8 ounces is about right to not have later water releases from the other side of the valve. More goes into the colon and may not be released until later. Of course if the rectum is empty it will hold more than 8 oz without the above complication.

When i give myself enemas i start with a little less than 2 quarts. once i've cleaned that out i start ramping up the dose, testing my pain tollerance.
