Here are more programs that would be helpful:

CCleaner
ZoneAlarm*

* I have never tried this program before, but it's FREE.

I totally recommend you put up CCleaner! It cleans a lot of crap. (That's why it is called "Crap Cleaner".)

P.S. If you're having trouble updating Spybot - Search & Destroy, try this; maybe it'll help.

Is it me or is it a bit sus right after ur dangers of aderwear and spywear crap u post sumin for us to download and install..... as much as i love this site its still a porn site and maybe not to be trusted, not for downloading and installing..... say what you want but i guess its beter to be safe than sorry

I could certainly recommend Zone Alarm, I've been using it for years and it's kosher.
You might also want to download 'Spybot Search and Destroy' for removing spyware, that's free too.

I've been using spybot search and destroy for a couple of years and wouldn't recommend anything else.

Have you considered AVG antivirus which is also freeware and I wouldn't use anything else either.

And also killbox for those really stubborn viruses.
