I've got terrible luck with this site, most recently I wrote something I was proud of, was about to copy/paste and hit ask for validation, when my laptop shut off. It evidently had come unplugged, and I hadn't noticed.

So I plugged it back in, and wrote a piece of crap that I would never read on this site... now I kinda want to change it. Should I just post a "(Title) - Rewrite," or... what's the procedure? I don't want to piss anyone off.

When searching for stories I would like to be able to search multiple tags at once to narrow down the 500+ stories in most of the categories.
Like being able to search Dark Fantasy+ Bi-sexual+Fem dom
instead of having to pick one topic and then search for something that meets my criteria.

What happened to the story site? All of a sudden I no longer have the themes index or the listing (by date) of the latest stories posted. Every time I try anything the site just goes back to the same listing that I can't use. Help!

I noticed that, too. Probably related to changing servers earlier today. This forum also needs some tweaks and I imagine LeMark is working on them now ("search" and "new posts" tell one to wait thousands of seconds before clicking again; the time shown at the bottom of the page is off by several hours; stuff like that).

Thanks, Sahara. I normally check the new stories list daily and pick out those in which I am interested and/or those written by my favorite authors. If I don't have that available, what to do, what to do? I'll try to have patience.

A new gibe on Canon, and four or five similar new posts to the "Carol" stories by invictus. This person has evidently focused on me as his personal obsession and is continuing to attack and bait me.

The occasional negative comment is one thing, but this son of a bitch is mounting a systematic campaign of abuse and harassment. It's patently obvious that all these comments are coming from one person.

If there is no solution for this, I shall post my work elsewhere.

Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing myself. I submitted one on 8/20 and another on 8/23, which are still being "validated." Maybe they are sending the stories to our troops overseas for validating, who knows.

It looks like the last story posted was just over a week ago (8/21?). I've got several myself that I requested validation on, and a couple more that I'm keeping in edit mode until the gatekeeper wakes up. I wouldn't know where else to post them if this site goes down.

I'm having the same problem. Lately it seems as if xnxx has been "saving up" a bunch of stories and then DUMPING them all together at the same time. With all this competition for readers and votes, many stories get lost in the crowd and have little chance of getting either readers or votes. It's quite a bit frustrating!

Not sure whether to post this is in the actual forum or in this FAQ, but either way, I am getting in the habit of posting stories again only last time I found my stories posted on other sites. Is there anything that can be done about this, I've noticed people who've found their pics posted on other sites usually start stamping their pics but what is there to do about stolen stories?... warnings before the story? etc..

Most stories that are stolen and put on other sites are stolen completely, word for word, from start to finish. I now put my name at the end of each story and most all the sites that my stories have been lifted to still have it there. So perhaps just put your name at the beginning or end of your stories. I think those sites aren't interested in ripping people off, but rather just attracting visitors. The ones who want to rip people off do so on already established sites like this one. About the only way to fool them is to put your name in the middle of the story as most of those people don't take the time to read them.
