I did not wuite know where to put this but as suggested on your stories page i have a little suggestion on how to maybe make it better (not that its not already awsome) but i think it would benifit from a multiple theme selection for example you should be able to pick more than one theme like ... Lesbian and incest for example. would be nice to get this feature if possible.

I'm new to XNXX and have a rather long story to post. About 30,750 words in MS Word. Should I break it down into 3 or 4 parts, or try to post it all at once? Also, should I have it edited or reviewed before it's posted? Thanks for your help.

Break it down into parts, and there is a spellcheck on the stories site. It will underline potential errors for you, though grammatical ones are your responsibility. MS Word should have sorted all of those anyways

I don't think there's any general consensus.

I've always figured that "Teen" means 13-17 (i.e. underaged but not pedo) and "Young" means anything under that. Otherwise, why have both Teen and Young tags?

But without clear definitions, any other interpretation is just as good as mine.

I'm with Daddycums. I only use the Young tag in my stories where there is a character that's 12 or younger. 13-19, I use the Teen tag. It helps to attract my target audience for a particular story and warn others who might be offended or disinterested, thus keeping my readers more happy.

If you are under the age of consent (16 most places) you might fit in the young category. Certainly preteen is young.

My own opinion, beginning with an anecdote from my own work.


The female protagonist in my novel is thirteen, and pre-pubescent for approximately 500,000 words.

However, I did not use the young code. Here's why. I gave consideration to the expectations of the readers. I believe that most readers who choose the young criterion are looking for stories in which the child (or early teen) is either coerced (nonconsensual) or romantically manipulated (so-called consensual, although with children the idea strains credibility), by an adult. In other words, the reader is looking for a power fantasy.

In my novel, the girl does start out technically as a child. However, she grows up (the final book of the trilogy will open with the protagonist at twenty-eight years of age). Secondly, the book is an exploration of the idea that the girl and the man are "made for each other" in every possible respect, apart from the age disparity. Therefore, I wanted to draw readers who want romance, rather than an age-based power fantasy.

In retrospect I did myself a short-term disservice, since I would have received far more hits if I had used young, but I think I will win in the end, by remaining true to the trilogy's overall theme.

I will close by saying, in principle, that I agree with JAT's idea that young should pick up (on this forum) where teen leaves off, since there is no pedo code. Regrettably, that will be impossible to enforce; most authors are savvy enough to know that young is analogous to the "R" rating in movies. It draws the biggest audience here, warranted or not.

I see, thanks. If I write stories like that, I'll use 'Teen' for 13-17 and 'Young' for 11-12. Using the keyword for "generally young" characters seems redundant.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry it took so long to get get back but xnxx does not notify that someone has responded and I didn't know how to follow up.

I submitted my sorry yesterday. I think it takes a few day to get it verified. The title is "Uncle Tim's Dilemma." It's in 4 parts. The first part sets up the situation and the characters. Chapter 1 only has a little sex but sets the stage for the subsequent chapters which get better and better. Hope you have a chance to read it.

Perhaps it's not intended to be fixed, and the status quo is permanent.

I found the vote ranking pointed out the better stories and consigned the others down the list.

The moderation is most likely busy helping to sort out the server issue. And yes, it is meant to be 2 to 3 days maximum. Either that or an influx of stories has overcome the moderation which means have patience, and hopefully the stories will be validated.

After checking almost weekly on my story 'hits' for the last several months, I noticed that the counter finally changed, adding 90+ to the hits for my personally highest read story last week. No changes in the comments counters yet, but... hey! Somebody's doing something over there! Yay!

Also, thanks for cleaning up the Sex Stories section on this forum - and posting instructions on how to post stories. Stories belong in the stories section; not here. In the forum section, a story can easily get lost as more pages are added, and that could discourage a promising writer who wants his/her stuff to be read and enjoyed. Hard to read something if you can't find it, eh?

Although I'm happy with the changes I've seen, there is one I would like considered. I think the authors should have the option of deleting comments they might find offensive. I can't stop trolls from commenting on existing stories, only on new submissions. I'm tired of the hurtful comments, and I would like to be able to erase them myself. I realize that the only reason they comment like that is because they can hide behind their anonymity, but I just don't want to deal with it anymore. It's hurtful and inappropriate.

Yeah JAT, not a single cent. But on a quick estimate I reckon your stories have been read over 5 million times and probably enjoyed by millions - including me.

Perhaps that's your reward - to be read end enjoyed in Portugal and Patagonia, from Alaska to Zimbabwe. Better that than have a print run of 4,000, have your book in that part of the store where no-one goes and have it remaindered or given away after a few months.

yeah that's for sure. but i have a feeling it was setup that way to let new storytellers a chance to get there stories out. because in the past. stories of high quality standards stayed at the top, and the new ones never got read.

I too ventured back recently to try and get some excitement after yet another failed sojourn with a real life woman. Boy it's bad. There used to be some writers who could actually write and who had a feel for sex somehow beyond incest and 9 year old girls.

Now they are rated so far down and browsing thru top rated gives a relentless list of titles including family members and scripts with no imagination whatsoever.

I despair for the world. If sex can't create excitement passion and lust what can?

There are moments when the front page is dominated by large group of stories with common tags, I'll grant you.

That's not a problem. Find a tag you do like, click on it, and enjoy. There's a lot of good stuff here.

There's also a lot of stuff that, well, maybe needed a little more work before the writer submitted it.

I've seen some pretty decent stories lately, some of which are by new writers, along with some very nice entries by the veterans.

Is there some real crap out there? Yeah. Is there some stuff which might be well-written, but contains subject matter that I just can't enjoy? Definitely. I just don't get some fetishes.

But there's some wild wank material, some intense "feelings" pieces, a couple of tender romances, and a few stories that just have to make you smile.

So, lighten up and read something.
