riters stab each other in front and back, gd forum posters raid across border and carpet bomb riters people call each other bad names and fight all time. i say me not do bad but me accused by people like ww wimmers of stuff i dont do, so me sad i rite opinion on story and people get mad(cool smily- is he new?)so what i do? me not go away yet but me not mole me dont want to be whacked, so maybe me not post, me just loiter about and panhandle for beer money(for chris+sylvia-austrian limeys i say bier)

It did have useful info, but is it updated? Maybe a new locked thread would be more useful? Come to think of it, there are no locked threads - that's a common feature of other sites; a FAQ thread that's locked so noone can make inane remarks.

This is a 'how to' manual, instructing members how to post stories on the story site. It may not be as well visited as other threads here, but it does still instruct.

The best way of checking to see if there have been any updates on the instructions, is to follow the instructions yourself, as though you have never posted a story on the story site. Any instructions you find that need updating, let LemarkXxX know.

I'm sure he'll be more than happy to update this thread with the relevant instructions.

There appears to be no hard and fast limit; the admins have never been clear, so I think it's really about the content. If you have a young couple discovering their sexuality in a loving way, they probably won't have a problem, but if you have an older man violently raping a young girl, it will be deleted.

But mostly, it depends on whether you get praise or ire from the community :/ If you offend someone with a young story, it'll get deleted, but if everyone seems to like it, the admins won't take notice.

I recently finished a story and submitted it. It said it was published straight away. Normally it usually said waiting for verification or something, but whatever.
Much to my disappointment when I view it it seems all the " (quotation) marks have become question marks making the story horrible to try read. Now I read in the support page I could email the team at their email address to be able to edit it. (I don't know what, somehow get the quotation marks to work somehow.)
Here's my problem - I registered with a disposable email account thus I would be unable to email them and confirm it is me since I cannot access that account since it was disposable.
What should I do?
Also I'm not sure if it is really out. It says it's there under the 'Your Stories' link however it's not listed in the 'View your Profile' link.

Lately, newly posted stories go to print fairly quickly. Manually search for it on the front page. If it's validated you should see it up there. The quotations will turn to normal once it's validated. You see question marks on the "your stories" link but none of us will see them.

Quick question... Is there any way to save an author as a favorite to check their work to see when they post new chapters to their series without always having to search for the author's name??

On the story site, you can choose a story as your favourite by clicking 'add this text as your favourite' It will stay on your story profile and you can then click the author's name and it will take you to their profile, along with a list of his or her work.

If it's on the story forum, you could try subscribing to the thread, and checking the writer's profile for threads they have started.

Maybe I am missing it but is there anyway to search for an author.

People recommend authors but I have had no luck searching for their names. I am relegated to searching alphabetically and if their pseudo-name starts with an "S" or latter in the alphabet clicking through hundreds of authors in the Stories section.
