went to nevada job bank tonight for several hours and actually found several engineering jobs that I might be able to get if they overlook my age and the fact that the last engineer ng I did was in 1898, err I mean 1989.

Good salaries too.

Meanwhile also planning on putting up posters on poles near schools for tutoring and music lessons.

I haven't said much about this primarily because the theme here is focused on sex.


The county mental health dept. lost their resident clinical psychologist. When I retired I never took my name off of the eligibility list. Seems that my name was the only one there.


During our negotiations the subject of my transsexualism came up. Some on the review board thought that I shouldn't be allowed to work in my chosen gender.


I pointed out to them that if I wasn't allowed to be me that after the law suit I wouldn't have to work ever again.


The first few weeks of me settling in were somewhat estranged. The one lady on the board who voted against me and who was one of the dept. heads made it clear to me that I couldn't use the ladies room.


Part of my contract gave me equal authority as her. I refused to use the men's room and she fired me. She hadn't read my contract so her actions toward me were null and void.


That was two years ago. Sometimes the work load is staggering and my 75 year old body feels it. It is mostly a mental load. The most physical I get is taking files from my client's case workers.


As for my co-workers, I was accepted as one of the girls even the lady who tried to keep me out of the dept. has become one of my closest friends.


I sometimes have to work 12 hours a day because there are too many clients and not enough clinical psychologists so I have to turn people who need help away.


I promised Lainie over a year ago that I would come to Las Vegas for a visit. Sorry Lainie, I couldn't take a vacation. Maybe next year, that is if this job doesn't kill me first.

I just went to dinner tonight with Cynthia at Sr. Miguels and then home to watch Blank Check a really funny movie about a kid with a million bucks. Checked my mail and think we will watch West World, I really liked that one.

Tomorrow planning on visiting Sam's Town Oktober Fest in the Mystic Park.

Maybe go dancing tomorrow night.

Someone said to me that the suit against the city by the EEOC should net me 7 figures, Oh my if that was only to come true. I would host an xnxx convention in Las Vegas. I wonder if they will ever get it settled before I die.

What a day (Tuesday). I didn't get to sleep until 2:30 am and stupidly thought I could get up at 8am.
actually finally after several attempts got up at 10:30.

Had chelation scheduled for the morning (that is what keeps me so much younger than my calender age!) but didn't get to the doctor's office until 11:30.

Then I think they forgot I was there sitting in my own private room with all the files and 4 recliners. So they didn't take my blood pressure and hook me up to the IV until 12:30.

About halfway through, the needle came out of my vein and the drip stopped. So the nurse tried to correct it in the same place but it wouldn't work, so she shifted it to my right hand from my left arm. That took about 30 minutes altogether. I finally finished my nominal 3hr drip at 4:30pm.

When I left I decided to go eat something since I knew my SO would be asleep until 10PM. I went to Marie Callender's and had their great chili and cornbread, that I have always liked and its fairly cheap. I hate the fact that if you drink coffee or tea it is now $2.50 or at least $2.00 everywhere. What happened to the nickel bottomless coffee?
And 35cent cheeseburgers, 1/4 pound. Blame it on the bankers they like inflation and force it upon all of us.

One lady complimented me on my blue with sparkles fingernails so I told her where she could get them done and how and how much.

Then I took my 4 new prescriptions to Walgreens and had them give me a copy of the one that they interpreted as one vial of insulin instead of the 4 it should have been, shorting me 3 vials for my September purchase. Today Tues, I called them to get the RX number and put on my copy of the RX so I could give it to the doctor for when he calls them back, even tho they told me he did call them back already and said it was for one vial. So today I called the doctors office and asked them to have him call me, which he didn't by the time they left.

So I got home about 6:30, decided to read some more. Got two days mail to go through, paid bills online for me and my sister (I do all of hers). and then read until 3am, but also talked to my gg gf for about a half hour. She told me there was a gunpoint carjacking and rape near where she lives on Mon morning very early. LOCK YOUR CAR DOORS ALWAYS. Her door wasn't locked and he got in the passenger with his gun.

Preceding day Monday, I called my gg gf after the TG group meetintg and asked her if she wanted to go to Southpoint for dinner. So she agreed, and I drove over to get her. Used a whole 1/4 tank of gas for the evening. But we had a great visit, and discovered that altho the Southpoint had taken out the 2 pianos in the lounge where I used to dance, they now had put a piano in a large new lounge and bar they built in the middle of the casino over the last six months. So I didn't leave her place till 1:30am Mon and thus didn't get to sleep until 2:30 or later Tues am. We tried to get her webcam to work but couldn't opent the program, everytime we tried it only gave us the option of uninstalling it.

Today, Wednesday, didn't get up until 2:30pm after sleeping about 11 hours. Wanted to get the 75 Cordoba smogged, go to the Nevada job place, and deal with the RX problem from September. I did take care of one of my sisters bills that was returned on her debit card since she had required it to be voice approved, so I just called the company and told them I would be mailing them a check tonight to cover it. 6PM now still need to go to Waltgreens get RX's, mail the check, eat, and maybe read until 10pm when C wakes up again. Maybe I will wait until then to eat and we can go to the Suncoast.

I hope they extend the unemployment soon. I have one resume on line and one application pending on line, but no one is going to hire someone 73 yrs old, and that has been retired for 20 yrs from engineering. I still have to try tho. Another thing is to put up posters on light and traffic poles for tutoring and music lessons. My attempt at getting the YMCA to offer the lessons didn't work out due to the economic situation and their lack of student bodies in the programs they have.

Readers Note: I am using the white background and trying to use colors that are readable on both blue and white. When Lemark gets the blue fixed I will return to it and for certain members who like to post "No one cares" that's OK just don't mess up my thread with your assinine comments. I don't care that you don't care also I have been afflicted with a tremor that sometimes caused extra letters to get typed and I don't always get rid of them in edit time. .

My doctor did indeed just call me back and admitted he made a mistake writing it for one vial, so he said he will call the pharmacy and see if they will let him change it. If not, guess I am just out the three bottles. I should not have doubted him, he has never let me down in the years I have gone to him. Sometimes the nurses forget to give him a message tho.

Ah well, today, Thursday the October 23 is a day I slept from 4am to 4pm so nothing got done. But I can go dance tonight with my favorite band 360. Hope I can last more than one hour tonight.

Crapped out, read instead of getting dressed and going. Instead checking a new insulin bottle, 3 doses and sugar went up, 4th one it went down. I took enough to kill me over 3 hours (I wasn't trying that, it just took that much to test the new bottle.)

6am now daylight been up since 4pm yesterday afternoon. not sleepy. read the whole time except while on xnxx, finished 3 analogs.

So got up at 4pm Friday. Went to eat alone, then played Bingo, the band was too loud, I will not allow my ears to suffer possible damage because the sound people or band don't know what too loud is. This band has done that every time.

Saw several people I know and was complemented on my tiara. Talking to one lady told her I was EMPRESS Lainie, not a princess.

Now for any readers, I have been told several times that this color hurts the eyes of some, so pray tell me what color would be better that is visible on both white and blue?.

The only thing that bothers me about using red all the time is that when I want to use it for emphasis, I can't. Orange shows up pretty well, and of course yellow is great on the blue but not too good on the white. I have used the different blues and greens and the right ones (not dark on blue) seem to work ok. Sample colors on here.

These all seem to work on both except the yellow for white backgnd.

Had breakfast at 1;30am at south point with Kathy. Then went to Walmart, and the tops I paid $7 for last week were on for $3 now. Got the only color I didn't get before, black with embroidery.

Today had lunch with Lorraine, an old friend of my sister's and about my age, too.

We talked and ate for about two hours.

Now home waiting for my guitar student.

Thank you for the info, X_Orion, but I like some color in my posts, just an idiosyncrasy I suppose. However, I don't like to use something that people say hurts their eyes, and I also realize that people are different and one persons great color hurts someone else. So I do try to please as much as I can.

Really slow on the forum tonight. Thank goodness that Lemark changed the 5min edit to 10mins. But the blue screen colors are gone again after they were fixed for a while.

Been up since 6pm haven't eaten since then, actually since 11am.
Got my 75 Cordoba smogged and the stuff really worked, it passed.
Its CRC and guaranteed to make your car pass or double your money back.

Now to tackle my 77 Cordoba. Have to stop the power steering leak and should replace the fuel pump with an electric one I bought 3 months ago. Driver door still won't open after all my work on it.

The 77 license doesn't expire till Dec something. My hope is the fixit stuff I got for the power steering works and will stop it. I drove it dry and was wondering what the noise I heard was, it has been so long I forgot, and didn't check the fluid level before I drove it.
This car had 150 miles on it last year, and about 30 this year so far.
